I wish you were on Phoenix still to sell that.
I wish you were on Phoenix still to sell that.
Ya wristbands -1 would have sold for a higher premium on phoenix as well, but what can you do?
1/65 HQ
on T1
and the thing that I HQ'd was a paralyze potion for a friend that needed me to craft them a stack
crafting so ossum
1/55 Hexed Coif -1.
I have HQed all the new alchemy recipes at least once.
Well I decided to make some less expensive T1s-6/60 including two back to back
HQ rates without breaks:
Spoiler: show
Tier 1 (no subcrafts): 6.1% HQ rate +/- 1.5% (sometimes I was using Rusks, who knows if they matter)
Tier 1 (subcrafts): 3.2% HQ rate +/- 2% (including the Velvet Cuffs recipe, which I have to imagine I'm Tier 1 on)
Tier 0: 4% HQ rate +/- 4% (I got lucky. Used only one Rusk the entire time)
Cost Analysis:
Spoiler: show
So yay, months of paralyzing my gil flow with Alchemy purchases and wasting a ton of time to craft has net me approximately 40mil profit! I'm finally back in the black! If I hadn't gotten lucky with those initial Tier 0s I'd have scuttled and ended up farming Squamas or Dynamis to finance it. The only reason I managed to blitz it up was unreasonable T0 luck.
Doing this analysis has made me realize that I really shouldn't sell -1s for less than about 25mil considering how much they cost me to make and how high the odds of going totally broke trying to make them are.
I was feeling the luck...
and I pushed out another before going to sleep.
This makes up for going like 1/30 ish on Phos+1.
Wow very ncie.
What was your setup? lvl, items etc.
I'm not sure what level he is, but you need at least 107 leather (+armors, megamoglification, torque and adv. support) with smithing and goldsmithing at least 70 for them to be tier 1.
i had no problem making them with only 70 smithing and goldsmithing...
for the record, ive never had smithy's mitts...
Currently working on smithy's torque for my smithing sub, lol, then going back to skilling smithing to skill leather more, like leather torque, this is taking ages.
Certainly hope these recipes don't require subs over 70 to T1.... especially the ones with multiple subs
I also hope that das, also, just got smithing torque, lol, so 2nd crafting torque done, took less time than leather 1 by alot, and no mystery box power either.
Not knowing any of the subcrafts, I'd say the optimal situation to craft Hexed Gamashes/Wristbands might be 110 Bone w/ torque/stall/apron, 70 Leather w/ gloves & ADV support, then 70 Gold w/ glasses (110+8, 70+4, 70+1). A step up would be to get the Leather apron since bone apron would do nothing for the main craft in T1ing.
Hexed Jacket would be 110 Bone w/ stall/torque/apron/ADV support, 70 Leather w/ gloves, 70 Cloth w/ glasses (110+11, 70+1, 70+1). I'm simply basing this off of Leather being a secondary sub to Bone since forever.
Yeah the problem with that it most likely kills your ability to T1 while skilling up. Not to mention the couple of months wait getting gp items. Also pretty sure jacket is only clothe. Luckily I haven't touched cloth yet so I can test it's lvl when I get there
