I figured this would be the best place to post about this; since it's kinda related to computers. :3
I'm looking into buying a new computer chair, but I have no clue where to start. The POS I've been using is over a decade old and is starting to really annoy the hell out of me. I have no clue what the price range is for a respectable computer chair that I'll be spending the next few years using... but I think I'm going to have to at least put a cap at 200 dollars.
What I'm looking for is something that stays comfortable in certain positions and allows me to sit down for hours at a time without being bothered. (It's either that or I move my room around so I can see my new monitor from my bed.) Besides the regular sitting position, the positions I most often use are a normal sitting position with one of my feet on the chair, so that my leg is pressed against my chest and I can rest my head on my knee if I so wished. The other is me sitting on my tailbone with my feet on my edge of my desk, usually putting my arms under my legs to type. While in that last position I usually like to push back on the chair and kind of lift it up in the front.
So yeah, any help in my quest to find an adequate computer chair is much appreciated.
