Bell's is bringing back select Planet Series brews. So far it's Mars which is a DIPA coming in at 10.1%. I'm praying Saturn (barleywine) returns. Literally the best American B.Wine I've ever had.

Tweeted Bells about the planet series and they said they aren't doing it.

Tried Lagunitas Waldo Special Ale. Drinks like a triple IPA (think Founders Devil Dancer) and is a big 11.9%. Pricing here is so weird. The store called Super Liquor (who has the biggest craft selection in town) sells it for $4 a 12oz bottle. I found it at this small family owned grocery store chain (Polly's. There is like, 6 of them I think) for $11/6pk. They also have a bunch of Dogfish Head 120 IPA for $8.70 a bottle. Nuts.

I just crushed a crowler of District 96's Sexual Relations. Toki you definitely gotta stop by next time you're in Rockland. Their hazy IPA game is really on point. I kinda hate myself for following the juice craze, but this beer was crazy good.

No sir. I've been rolling with belgium tripels mostly. Dark Horse Sapient and Old Dominion Candi. It's been a bit hotter than usual in lower Michigan this year so I've been staying away from heavies, scotch ales, etc. My pallet only wants tripels currently.

I saw the Mexican Cake in Whole Foods last week and passed it up because of your posts.

I did pick up Grimm's Blueberry Pop! It was interesting, but basically what I expected considering they called it a Dessert Weiss. You could tell they used fresh blueberries instead of some bullshit crappy ones or flavoring. I wouldn't go out of my way to find it again, though.

with the new treehouse location in charlton running at full steam, my wallet & gut are in trouble. it's 30 minutes max up the road from my house and i can now load up multiple times per week without having to take a day off of work if i want. 7 bright & 7 eureka last week, 10 green tonight, and my brother wants to make a trip tomorrow after work. this is an extremely good problem to have

Anyone else in the Hudson Valley (NY)? I was going to go up to Hudson Valley Brewery to pick up their new releases tomorrow. They have some good stuff. Not sure how early I should get there, but I probably can;t make it up there until 11 because I have to drop the wife off for a haircut.

Should be closing on a house in about a month and a half that's only 20 minutes away, so that's a plus.
