I will back you up here Sano, not because I never drink Stella, but because Stella is not "good beer". Stella is, fuck it I'll have a Stella because I can't make up my mind.

Lotta good beer choices in here. I'm big on crafts and Belgian beer right now. New Belgium's 1554 and Fat Tire are my two favorites to get on tap out here because most ( of the better ) bars in Denver usually have them on tap.

Saw some posts for Abbey, Delirium, Duvel, Chimay and a lambic. All great choices but you *have* to drink them from a proper glass or don't bother drinking them at all. Not saying you have to have each brews recommended glass but at last have one Belgian beer goblet on hand for that stuff.

Here's some of my recent purchases, which are usually pints of Belgian beer:

As pointed out earlier Lambics are awesome for a summer beer, and a great way to get girls that don't drink beer to, well, drink beer. But it's also a beer a guy can drink and not look like a bitch.

Sorry about the poor quality took these on my iPhone, but fuck it I'm about to enjoy the shit out of the bottle of Tripel in that pic

I third the Allagash. They come to brewfests around my area, and when I wear my Allagash shirt they pretty much throw free beer at me (or rather refill my 7.5oz glass nonstop). Great people at that brewery.

Blue moon became my standard beer of choice after I realized that you didn't just have to drink beer to get drunk aka when I turned 21 and was able to purchase my own alcohol. Haven't looked back since.

I use to really dig corona but that has become a summer onry kind of beer for me now.

This is what I loved about Germany. It's pretty much the same in Austria as well. I don't think I was ever in a bar there (not club, bar) that had more than 2 breweries. Well, ok, a lot of guiness as well. And I agree, the dunkles hefe was usually my fav. But what I really liked was that each towns beer was good, just for different reasons. I never knew what to expect, but I always knew I'd like it.

Can add Belgium to that list as well. Brussels is like a beer Mecca.

Idk about the haterade for Stella. I stand by my statement that as lagers go, it is pretty much as good as it gets. If you don't like lagers (I'm not a fan myself) then eh...

Anyone here in the Tampa Bay area or maybe in Florida in general should check out Cigar City Brewing. Their Jai Alai IPA might be my favorite IPA atm, and while it is a small brewery atm (that is expanding), they are still getting big props from around the country. I know Jai alai got nominated for some awards, one of which was going up against Fat Tire actually lol.

    http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/17981
Rated as an average of A- on all of their beers, which is pretty outstanding to avg that. Definitely worth checking out any of their stuff, but huge endorsement for the Jai Alai IPA.

If Guinness is on tap, I'm on it.

If I am at home, Heineken in pint cans, not bottles or small cans.

If I'm not poor: Imperial stout time!

Seriously, its about $11 a bottle but the best imperial stout, ever.

It takes practice, patience, and more patience but I've never had anything come out undrinkable. I made an accidental wild ale once but a couple of my friends loved how sour it was. It's incredibly rewarding and satisfying to make your own beer. I just kegged a Kolsch that I'm excited to drink this summer. :D

This looks so dark, I imagine the consistency of molasses.

I started with miller/genny light, cheap beer people would buy at college parties at the beginning of the year. Changed the crowd I hung out with and It's been Yuengling ever since. I get Guinness on occasion but its too expensive to drink all the time. I still found the bitterness repulsive until I went through a 6 pack of guinness, and my taste buds seemed to have adjusted or w/e, because I don't notice it in Yuengling anymore, and it used to repulse me.

also, haven't seen it mentioned; They're under 3 dollars, for 40 ounces can't go wrong. I get pretty toasted finishing one of these, and have been known to use a hockey sock as a bottle holder and taking it with me wherever I go all night.

Being a poor underaged college student can have severe reprecussions trying to find what kind of beers you like, I wish I've been able to try others. There's a really nice beers of the world store near my campus, but obviously can't be buying anything randomly on my own.

Just bought a year old barrel aged B.O.R.I.S. for $20.

Imperials are dark, but the good ones are the ones that go down smooth with mellow tastes. I think thats why i love Hoppin Frog's beers

Brewed basically right down the road from me. Good chick beer and conversation starter. I'm more of a traditionalist with my beer, so it's not quite for me.

    http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g1...g_Pale_Ale.jpg

Tried this one last night. Fantastic pale ale. My mouth is watering even thinking about it. Lots of flavor to it, yet still one of the smoother, more refreshing beers that I've had in a while. It goes absolutely perfect with some hot wings. :D
