The thing I don't like about the designs is you can hardly tell who all is fighting or what's happening when the action gets going. It's a clusterfuck of indistinguishable CGI.

Sure, if you take the dim view. Clearly the graphics and audio have evolved immensely in the past decade or two, but that doesn't mean the games are actually getting more fun.
