Random question about the N64 version (since starting a new thread would be retarded):
Is there a way to not be completely fucked if you don't get Epona before going forward in time? I never beat the game when I was a kid because I did this and couldn't find a way to un-fuck myself. This was when I was like 9. Recently found my N64 and copy of OOT in a box and decided I was going to finish it.
I've tried googling for the answer, but it definitely doesn't seem to be a common mistake/issue.
I'm not sure if there is a limit, but if you missed epona when you were a kid once.
After the forest temple you can go back as a kid, so just go back to Lon Lon ranch as a kid and get the epona song.
Then back as an adult and go do the race still in the ranch

Ok I have a problem and no idea what I do wrong (been a while)
Finished all 6 temples of normal OOT. Currently in Ganon's castle
Arrived at the Mini Fire Temple where I need to get the silver rubies, m=byt there is a giant rock that refuse to move.
I have the silver gauntlets. When i go next to the rock it says press A. So i press A but nothing happens. The A is not broken it works in any other situation then that rock.
Any idea what iforgot
You need the gold gauntlets from the mini shadow room temple before you can do the mini fire room
FUCK you are right lol
Just picked this game up. Even though I know the dungeons, the little touches of detail to everything and playing in 3D it's almost like I"m in a completely different world. I don't generally enjoy replaying games but I'm definitely enjoying replaying them.
I just finished the OOT and for me well I havn't played it in 3 years + and i remembered almost everything.
Something strange is it,s like the Boss has more HP then the GC or N64 version and hits harder. I don't remember Ganon hitting for 4 hearts.
Anyway I will enjoy MQ because
First I never played it
2nd Mirrored will be funny
3rd Double Damage is cool for challenge heghe
so like the first boss will near insta kill you >?
Did they fix Power Crouch Stab in this version? Or was it always intended to work that way?
What would make you think it wasn't intended?
That. It's not really hard to go through the entire game without ever getting hit, if you don't suck. Then again, last time i played oot, i finished in under 2 hours (start to finish) without so much as entering a single dungeon other than ganon's castle, so what do i know?Only if you let yourself get hit. They do more damage and have more health but are they smarter?
I need to avoid this thread before i waste an entire day playing that game again ;;
Not sure how many of you guys signed up at club nintendo to get the soundtrack, but mine came in the mail today. So keep an eye out if you signed up for it!

Majora's Mask might come to the 3DS if you ask nicely
Since its release last month, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D has done incredibly well, which is encouraging to Nintendo and Eiji Aonuma, who are considering bringing another title in the franchise to the 3DS. Aonuma, who has had a hand in many of the Zelda games including OOT, Majora's Mask and The Wind Waker, sat down with Nintendo Power (their August issue has the full interview) and primary focuses on the upcoming title Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. He also discusses what could make a Majora's Mask remake possible, among other things.
According to Aonuma, Ocarina of Time 3D was made possible, in large part, because fans said they wanted an updated version of the game. He then went on to say that if the same level of interest was shown for Majora's Mask, "... it wouldn’t be an utter impossibility [to see a remake]." That is not to say you should start calling or emailing Nintendo right now, and Aonuma is not making any promises (a wise decision on his part), but this is encouraging news.
Sales for Ocarina of Time 3D have been incredibly high, and Zelda fans the world over have proved that even older titles in the franchise are still well loved. While the best we've gotten so far is a single comment about a remake of Majora's Mask not being totally impossible, I can't imagine a lack of interest for it (creepy grinning moon and all), and fans might not have to work as hard for a Zelda remake as they have for other games, with possibly better results.
not till 2013 i guess even though most sprites comes from OOT
Nah. OOT was to gauge interest for MM and see if people want the remake but it'll get cancelled because the fans will have failed to contribute enough.
Megaman jab right there. Love it....and fans might not have to work as hard for a Zelda remake as they have for other games, with possibly better results.
I saw it as a FF7 jab. The cancelled Megaman wasn't a remake was it?
lol nvm
