Been brew as possible temp in WoE ever since they added more flux beyond the original 7 I believe. Poor boss got raped at any rate, one of the other guys got a brew from a mob kill while inside.

Confirmed you can get a brew out of the 5 random temps. Zoned out/in four times and saw a brew in Conflux 7, and proceded to three shot the dragon on blm.

Are you saying you solo'd flux 7 this way?

The medallion isn't gone when you enter the flux now ?

Medallion is lost, but since the game-day wait on new medal is gone, you just zone back out to Xarcabard[S] and grab another. Flux timers do not start until a mob is aggro'd, so you can freely enter/exit them now, assuming you can afford the 1k every time.....lol.

I did WoE for the first time last night, got a brew on my first run. AEdge'd the Flux5 boss down on RDM, had a bunch of time left on brew with nothing to kill. In ~10 runs, I got one brew and one other person in that I randomly teamed up with got one. We had 4 for ~6 of the runs, and 9 for ~4 of them. Seems fairly rare.

Tbh I don't see them nerfing brew rate in WoE. It really does seem totally random which 5 you get, however this is out of a pool of probably 30-40+ temp items.

Gotta love them pet temps on a non pet job... its so hard to restrict temps to your main job amiright?

Brew was pretty rare for me. I got one on about my 15th re-entry, then didn't get one for the rest of the night until I went to bed (like 35 times).

Better than paying more than 100k for Devious die
You can get more than 1 brew for 100 attempts entering flux.

whats the best flux to solo then? wiki says the caturae one you only need to kill 1 of the caturae. any truth in that? anything else a brew'd soloist could clear?

I'm going to have to disagree with you there. He tried it 50 times, which means he wasted at least 150 minutes and it cost him 50k. In exchange, he potentially got a Devious Die. Devious Die would have to cost something like 2mil each before that is a time efficient way to farm them.

Yeah just the final one. Although you have to get there first. Go THF or take a hermes quencher in with you, without some sort of flee you'll just get killed over and over trying to get there.

Also the final boss can use Amnesia, Terror and Doom so even with brew shit can go wrong.

Though, doesn't Transcendency stay on, even if you die and raise up? You could put on RR and make sure you're not weak when you pop brew, then take it down. If you die, get up right away and keep going.

Does the boss absorb damage at any point? If not, I don't see it lasting longer than your doom counter. Terror could be an issue, but as long as it's not some 3 minute super terror, you'd probably be ok. I mean, a brew is a brew, unless it absorbs damage during certain phases and you accidentally heal it, it should die in seconds.

i was thinking standing outside aggro range of whatever is nearest, popping the brew then just bull-rushing to the boss with everything beating on me. like khamsin said, it shouldn't live more than a few seconds, especially with the right ws.

Hmmm still unattractive then. gdi. I just want these coins to be converted to dice/liminal residue
