    Walk of Echoes

    Condux is at H-9 in XarcaS

    1k for the key item

    hope some ppl come in for us to start



    update:

    1st mobs in #01 are a group of cyanic crabs, led by a damaskus crab
    we all got a temp. item after defeating 1 normal crab
    ranges from pet shit till very potent elixiers etc

    also: no xp loss!


    the big VNM crab joined in too


    the areas will start off with a group of mobs, as more and more get defeated, more and more mobs will spawn and start coming towards your group

    had around ~20 going but didnt get very far, as everyone came with retarded campaign subs

    did #1 and only get crab meat and temp items

    going again in 1h

    #02 was full of slimes also led by a giant one.

    edit: hmm now I'm not sure it was #03 anymore. will check when I can go in again.

    edit2: so yeah it was #02. and 01 is crabs too. Big one hit me for 400+

    #01 has crabs led by a giant one. I sense a pattern.

    #3 is antlions. Little light ones spam Sandblast which also does AoE silence here apparently. Little dark ones do Mandibular bite and Sandpit so far. Nothing sleeps, Grav not sticking. Tough to pull individually, they're pretty fast and all kinda grouped up. There's also a couple massive big ones that do all kinds of fun stuff like Stripga and generally hand you your ass.

    So if #3 was Slimes and Antlions, maybe the numbers are just a way of telling you which to enter to join with friends, and waves are completely random?

    Based on the text when you examine the stones, I'm pretty sure #2 is slimes.

    Mobs will pop right on top of you, make sure to pull back quite far.

    there's more than 1 damask crab in crystal 1

    Also, we sac pulled a Cyanic Crab and as soon as it died the rest came right for us

    They have some kind of weird link rules. We would be fighting one way away from everything else, and a little while during fighting it, another would come out of nowhere. Like it called for help or something

    Seems it works something like this: You start fighting weak mobs, then harder and harder mobs show up as you go. If you totally wipe they all run away and you start with the weakest ones again.

    When time runs out you get kicked out of the battlefield. Leave the zone and come back in (paying another 1000 gil) and you can go into another battlefield right away.

    We're thinking there might be zone hate/linking, and new crabs just kept continuing to pop. As of now, there's a pack of about 20 of them just wiping the floor with everyone. We killed the first 1 easy, and the 2nd ended up bringing 3 friends. Since then it's just been a cf.

    There's a 30 minute cooldown on mobs appearing, so if 1 person goes in a zone and hits something before everyone else, they basically screw it over for an hour. You can rush in and do what you can, but its definitely in your best interest to get as many people as you can and be ready at the same time.

    Seem to be immune to sleep, bind and gravity. My nukes were doing terrible damage.

    Hurray, campaign version 2 is just as bad for mages as the original ._.

    Just tried it now and got a new coin right after exiting the zone. So you can enter when the Vana'diel day changes, you do not have to wait 57 minutes from entry time depending on when you entered.

    This should be changed to a 5-min cooldown or something.


    -getting skillups on 75 cap weapons
    -mobs keep appearing continually in zone #1 (crabs) and rush us

    Morbid Molasses in crystal 2 spawns adds via the same move Blobdingnag uses to spawn his.

    Yeah, the battle begins as soon as the first person enters a subzone and thwacks a mob. Once the battle ends, the battlefield is closed for 30 minutes. Not sure if you can immediately re-enter a different battlefield yet, since they're currently all closed. (Only #1-#3 were active at all, the rest of the crystals don't do anything)
