AoE weaponskills are rarely worth using unless you're farming, I'm willing to bet it will be Cyclone that does 100 more Damage =(

53 dmg gun + 3hit ws = ? I really want to see the base ftp so we can figure out if this overpowers Slug Shot for Cor.

Will the additional 14 base dmg, increased qd dmg, and ability to wear more str/ratt/agi during ws make up the lost hit in terms of total overall dps?

Tornado Kick: Delivers a twofold attack. Damage varies with TP.
Aeolian Edge: Delivers an area attack that deals wind elemental damage. Damage varies with TP.

Bora Axe: Binds target. Chance of binding varies with TP.
Fell Cleave: Delivers an area attack. Radius varies with TP.
Infernal Scythe: Deals darkness elemental damage. Additional effect: Lowers target's attack. Duration of effect varies with TP.
Sonic Thrust: Delivers an area attack. Damage varies with TP.
Blade: Yu: Delivers water elemental damage. Additional effect: Poison. Duration of effect varies with TP.
Tachi: Butterflies: Lowers target's defense. Chance of lowering target's defense varies with TP.
Flash Nova: Delivers light elemental damage. Additional effect: Flash. Chance of effect varies with TP.
Cataclysm: Delivers an area attack that deals darkness elemental damage. Damage varies with TP.
Refulgent Arrow: Delivers a twofold attack. Damage varies with TP.
Numbing Shot: Delivers a short-ranged attack that deals triple damage. Additional effect: Paralysis. Duration of effect varies with TP.

Assume whatever you want. If it is 300, only rank A+ will be able to get it unmerited provided combat skill growth is unchanged, which seems unlike SE.

I haven't seen anything in the dats that suggests it's quested in the same manner as the Lv.71 WS, but that doesn't rule out the WS coming from Magian.

Going to take a whole lot to overcome the Slug fTP, aside from it having a greater chance of the damage being inconsistent as well as costing more ammo.

I called Ageha Tachi:Butterflies but other than that, it's copy pasted from the dats.

Enjoy your AoEs, elemental WS, and AoE elemental WS.

The WS descriptions are legitimate, though I am not sure what the hell people were expecting after seeing all the animations and how obvious most of them were. If anything, I think the descriptions were better than expected. Highly unlikely that they are quested.

I mean, the entire forum could be in agreement and assume the WS are gained at 300 skill but it won't change how the WS is actually gained.

Most of them were obvious but I think the two WS that upset people's expectations most were Sonic Thrust and Infernal Scythe. Going back to my original point, most people assumed they were ranged single target damage.

It will probably be like Blast Shot and be multi hit in name only, and be like 3.5ftp mod or something instead.

I understand Slug has a high fTP, I just did a piss poor job of phrasing my question. I'm not sure why it would be more inconsistent or take more ammo.

Slug Shot: Delivers an inaccurate attack that deals quadruple damage.

Numbing Shot: Delivers a short-ranged attack that deals triple damage.

To say it a different way, what would it take in terms of fTP and modifiers from gear for Numbing Shot to match Slug Shot?

    hurray for Freezebite2.0~!
and if drk absorbs are any indication of the PLD WS's new "drain effect" yer getting STR lol.. Utterly useless considering you get it AFTER the WS and will undoubtedly wear prior to next one being ready, save icwing or SAM giving you TP.

Am I the only one looking forward to Fell Cleave? Delivers an area attack. Radius varies with TP. I'm 100% happy with KJ/RR and great axe has no elemental or aoe weapon skill yet. Plus the effect is shinny.
