Next step: Litre bike.
the only thing that changed going for a 6 or a 7 to a 1000 was the frequency in which i had to buy new tires. that torque'll get ya
Oh and for those of you that ride, let's get pics of gear. 'cause we all know that the bike is only half of what people see.
No pics right now:
Suit: Shift Superstreet two piece, Black/White.
Gloves: Cortech Adrenaline Silver/Black
Boots: Sidi Fusion boots
Helmet: Scorpion Tsunami EXO-400, Black/White
I plan on heading down to NJMSP sometime soon for a trackday. I just gotta save up some $$.
Jacket: A* RC1
Gloves: A* GP Pro
Boots: A* S-MX Plus
Helmet: some shitty 100$ helmet that I haven't replaced
Pants: jeans til I can get some leather pants/1pc suit
I'm working on setting up my 250 for the track, once the new engine is in I'll be good.
I'm lucky that I live about 20 minutes away from Laguna Seca.
Amen to that. Even now my Daytona is only a 675 and I've been riding off and on for years. Take it easy on that thing dood.brass balls starting out on a 1300, my 1st was a ninja, i think it was 600 maybe
For good gear prices, you might want to see if there's a rider forum for your area. I know that here in California we have BARF (Bay Area Riders Forum), which is a huge force in the moto community. Lots of charity events, rider safety training at high schools, etc.
I got my Shift suit for $250 because the guy bought it and didn't realize it didn't fit. He wore it less than a half dozen times. Great suit, even if it doesn't have pucks (as if you really need those unless you're an A group rider or a racer. )

said truck that i didn't post pic of yet!
Kyo's going to get himself killed if that's his first bike. Hope you're a bad enough dude to handle that monster :T
Ive had it for 6 months, Im not dead yet, this is solid progress.
If he rides within his limits, he'll be fine. I started on a 600, everyone told me that it was too much bike for a beginner, but I took it slow, got a feel for the bike and don't go past the point where I'm comfortable.

I drive a 2010 Ford Mustang Coupe Premium.... glad to see other Mustang owners on here. in b4 "should have waited til 2011 lol" but considering I managed to get it brand new for under 20k I have absolutely no regrets. A 2011 model similar to mine would retail for almost 30k.
GDI ecks. I'm still a few months from my 2011 camaro going to be black with the dark grey stripes. How is it to drive? Worth the cash?

edit: found a photo of it with t-tops.
