Is it? It becomes a little obvious when the director uses the wide shots. Which Boyle is famous for, he uses them in his films to give you a sense of desolation and hopelessness. There's nothing wrong if they wanna pay some sort of homage here and there. If some of you didn't pick up the little details it's fine, enjoy. ANYWAY, can't wait for the next one.

Was watching this with the woman, started talking about various ways the zombie shit may have started. I jokingly suggested a drug company testing a new type of viagra-like boner pill which reacted with a viral factor. Things were fine at first til someone died with it in their system. Upon being "stimulated" (noise/movement/smells/physical contact) they "become erect" for up to 4 hours at a time.

Naturally the normal effects of a boner pill would be in effect, and I figure since the only drive as primal as feeding is sex, the zombies would try to do both.

That's the beauty behind the comic. Is it really cheating if she thinks he's dead? Is she just fucking him so he can continue protecting her and her son? Or is it a coping mechanism when shit hits the fan that when the species is endangered a primortial insinct kicks in where people feel compelled to pair to continue the species?

Right now I'm only convinced that she's a whore.

Her husband gets shot, falls into a coma. Then the Zombocalypse kicks in and they abandon him in the hospital.
It's been what a few months at most and she's already taking it doggy style in a field.

I'm finding it hard to feel any sort of compassion for her compared to her character in the Comics.
