As soon as he went down, I was ready to stop watching. I only read the first issue of the comic, so I don't know a lot of the characters but I don't remember any being this dumb or annoying. Daryl's the only character I like anymore and the look for Sophia was old 2 or 3 episodes ago. I realize the comics are more about the characters than any action or zombies, but it's moving entirely too slow for me.
Also, I saw the surprise ending coming as soon as she read the note. I didn't really pay attention to Herschel telling them not to use the barn but I figured they were hiding something. I just really want the setting to change more than anything or introduce new interesting characters.
This episode was nothing more than a continuing showcase for how awesome Daryl is. Lori is getting to be a bit much and Andrea is pretty much altogether unbearable to watch right now. No sense in complaining about the Sophia arc since they are attempting to make it relevant(by actually finding proof she was around) and as it was stated before, it's essentially a plot device now.

Oh and yeah I yelled out loud when Andrea took that shot and Daryl went down. My wife kept repeating "What a cunt" over and over.
haha i can imagine a collective people crying out in anguish cause of that scene
Here is my guess to the 3 most common responses to that scenehaha i can imagine a collective people crying out in anguish cause of that scene
WTF?!You fucking bitch!What a cunt!
All of the above... god I was gonna rage if she killed him, she's been pissing me off with her "I'm a badass bitch and don't give a fuck~" routine. Also, I hope the barn zombies escalate a conflict that promotes the crew to kill Herschel's family, Idk why but I want to see that old man dead lol.
My response was "They should've let you die!"
I just said "They better not kill Daryl." Ok, I shouted it.
Morning after pill isn't an abortion pill. Won't do a damned thing for her. They just stop implantation, not cause miscarriages.
Man, this show is starting to get on my nerves.
I thought this was "The Daryl Show: With Zombies" what the fuck.
I'm curious what they're going to do with Shane. It just seems like there's going to be a lot of tension between him and Dale.
At least they made Lori slightly more likable.
I saw Andrea+Shane coming a mile away, with him teaching all the gun stuff.
Darryl+Carol was obvious too, but that doesn't make me like it.
anyone think the neighborhood shane & andrea went to is taking the place of

in the comics? seems like lots of small nods to things in the comic here and there.
Maybe, but I think that's just a nod or an allusion to it. I have a feeling they are going to skip that story line completely.
I really like Maggie & Glenn's portrayal and Shane going all Gomer Pyle on Dale at the end.
So Rick didn't know Lori was prego. I wonder what Jenner told him at the CDC then since that was my guess.
Anybody else think that with little to no focus on Sophia's search that they'll end up finding her inside the barn when they inevitably open it up for the mid-season finale?
When does the season pick back up, I don't remember seeing anything about a mid-season finale until hearing about it on the show tonight :/
edit: Found the answer on wikipedia dur
"After the first seven episodes air, the series will go on hiatus, and then return on February 12, 2012, where the final six episodes of the season will begin airing."
thx
Sophia story has dragged on for far too long, I didn't care about it to begin with honestly as she was a fringe character at best. I could really care less that Lori is pregnant too and I'm sure that will drag on forever as well. It's been a pretty mediocre second season thus far.
Been loving every minute of it. I like the slower pace as opposed to the "Zombies kill no one, but guns kill everyone" schtick of the comic. Plus, Shane is 30 times better in the show than in the books. Loving watching Shane teeter between light and dark forms, and he's still the only person aside from Darryl that can actually get shit done and done quickly.
I hate Dale.
Dale is cool but I feel like sometimes he really should just mind his own.
Anyways, so if Rick didn't know that Lori was pregnant... wtf did the CDC dude tell him? That he caught Shane and Lori on camera? Cause he apparently knew about that. Were there traces of the infection in his blood work? Seriously fuckin plot hole.
