Loving how well the deviations from the comics are working so far. I am really impressed by this season thus far.
A Beautiful Mind, the Walking Dead edition. Michonne's pretty fucking bad ass. I can understand now why you dudes were talking her up. Carol being alive seemed obvious to me.
Seems like a lot of shit is about to go down next episode.
I think it's bullshit I have to wait six more days.
That Talking Dead was barely watchable. Joel Madden seems to watch a totally different show. He's wrong about everything and was a waste of space. I could see Chris trying so hard to not call him out every time he spoke.
I am seriously beginning to hate Andrea's character all over again this season. Her character is so naive and it pisses me off.
Her character is a complete fucking waste of oxygen, especially now that we don't need her to learn who Micchone is. Only thing she's good for is to move the plot along with the Governor. Carl gained bad ass status, Lori was gloriously shot in the face then eaten, Carol is being kept off screen so as to not annoy us as much, Andrea pretty much the only one still rocking that season two retardedness.
I love how Carl was all "she was still alive, she hadn't turned yet, when I shot her ... but I'm sorry about your mama", after Daryl told his story
I'm hoping that she a) gets killed in the crossfire between the Governor and Rick or b) gets eaten by a zombie. Perhaps a bit of both.
They forgot, Ready To Kill, then again you could just as easily add "and Ready to Kill" at the end of all that.
Andrea hasn't completely reverted. Just this last episode she leaped over the wall and stabbed a walker in the eye. It showed that she is tough, but she's still hopeful, which is why she is trying to hold onto Woodbury. She is yet naive, but that will likely change with the Governor. Then maybe we can have the pretty pro Andrea from the comics. Although honestly in that scene I was expecting Andrea to take that girls bow and one shot the walker, she's an awesome shot...
I noticed while reading the comic Michionne is a completely different character, she loves sports, sex (enough to get someone already taken to cheat with her), way more personality, and of course killing.
Andrea is always a huge fucking bitch. Don't know why anybody expects different from her character at this point:
a) Dale: Hey Andrea, don't go killing yourself.
Andrea: Fuck you Dale, you had no right to save me.
b) Dale: Hey Andrea, don't trust Shane. He's bad.
Andrea: Fuck you Dale, you have no control over me (fucks Shane).
c) Dale: Hey Andrea, don't shoot until we know what's going on.
Andrea: Fuck you Dale, I'm a good shot (shoots Daryl).
d) Dale: Hey we gotta stay out of this farm business.
Andrea: Fuck you Dale, we need to be real (tells Beth to kill herself).
Yea, worthless.
I've been rewatching the first two seasons, near the end of the second, and yeah I almost forgot how awful Andrea was. Carl isn't as bad as I remember, but holy hell at Andrea and Lori.
Honestly, their characters were just poorly written. Andrea's character just seems too cliche and Lori was just dumb for the sake of being dumb. And my opinions of Carl are mixed right now. I really hated his character in Season 2, but he has been alright in Season 3 so far, although he can still be annoying at times.
I'm not really happy with Carl's actor still, but the direction they're taking the character is much, much better (and far closer to the comics).
Probably one of my favorite parts of the season. Last season everyone I know was saying that they should kill off Carl, and I had to explain that, in the comics, he isn't such a little shit. Glad to see him pulling his weight and being a worthwhile addition to the group.
