I noticed too, but even the "high def" ones weren't true HD for me, on my HD channel they were cropped for old 4:3 aspect ratio

Even so, the quality difference was so incredibly noticeable I wonder why they did it that way.

That's honestly the first B&B episode I've watched start to finish. Shame none of the channels I had growing up aired it. Had South Park for some reason though even though the two shows kinda went hand-in-hand for that crowd.

The visual discrepancy on the music/show commentary makes me want to believe they literally just recycled the animation frames they used from the more recent'ish season rather than a digital do-over/clean-up like the actual episode bits. I'd have probably found the episode more humorous if the entire episode went off on that idea by making it look like the shit we grew up with, with unclean/inconsistant line quality and the cell colours not matching frame per frame.

I want to see more though, this episode managed to get a few chuckles out of me, and with Futurama out of the picture for some time I could use me something as a tie-over.
