Stakes Ep 5+6

t's impressive how they keep the battle strategy exciting as the arc continues. With Rebecca Sugar coming back on board with Stakes mini series (after her fantastic work with Steven Universe) and the quality of these episodes being this high, I am excited with final two episodes.

-I really loved the facial expressions in these two episodes. They were just so derpy in a lot of shots and it fit the scenes so well.
-King of ooo is still an asshole and seeing PB kicking his ass was funny.
-Seeing Marceline inner thoughts was really heart breaking.
-Finn and Jake are really out there element battling these vampires and the outcome is nothing but hilarious.

Stakes Ep7+8

The last two episodes were great. Loved to have a great excuse to have the main cast all hang out on a long adventure hunting the vampires and it proves the show can do extended stories well. This was a truly amazing mini series. Easily the best thing to ever come from Adventure Time.

My only complain the Mini series raised more questioned than it answered.

-What happened to Marceline mom.
-How did Marceline mom and dad meet.
-What happened to the humans after Marceline became a vampire.
-What happened to Simon after he left Marceline.
-How did Simon break free from vampire control before he met Marceline.

Adventure Time is one of those shows that will never give or even have all the answers to their own questions. With them giving their lore in short 1-2 minute clips in an otherwise 10 minute episode, we're forced to make a lot of our own assumptions of what's going on. Sure, some of it's spelled out but take for instance the voice that plays when Marcy takes out the big bad and her heart turns into a mouth that says, "Oh boy, I am famished." It's all so cryptic sometimes.

I just noticed something. At the end of the new Moe the Moe episode, when the video of Moe comes on, in the background you can see one of the Sleeping Fire Giants being built in the background, and you can see schematics of the giants on the table. There is also a diagram for the mars colony.

Cartoon Network announced today that its Peabody- and Emmy-winning animated series Adventure Time will be ending in 2018 — eight years and 71 hours of programming after it began. Adventure Time content will continue to debut on Cartoon Network over the next two years, including specials, miniseries and the ninth and final season.
