You can look back in the stat thread to find their old tests, and yea that's pretty much what Seiken did, his original tests were with Ifrit weapons iirc.

It helps that value distribution is equal within a given range so you only need to establish a min/max rather than an average (since the former gives you the latter).

Edited when he updated it with Ifrit Bow 1.21.

"UPDATE Patch 1.21: Tested on R52, new WS caps with Ifrit's Bow are DEX 295-300 and PIE 330-335. Both affect WS damage now, but cap really early with light shot. "

You can also extrapolate out the caps based on this:

Formula:
36.74 = 335/300 (335/36.74) 9.1 | (300/36.74) 8.17
39.74 = 350/310 8.81|7.80
40.97 = 356/314 8.69|7.66

If you just take 8.5 for Piety and 7.5 for dex then

41.95 = (8.6*41.95) (7.6*41.95) 360/318

Seems kinda high though
