The worst thing I find about Full perle is that no one gets their 6 hit with it. I know you could use a 464 Keito with STP+5 but most of those idiots are using the pre-Masamune Great Katana because they beleive 50 Carabose Gems aren't hard to get.

I'm not saying its not possible to get a 6 hit with full Perle, I'm just saying pretty much no one does it.

That's because most who have adapted to full Perle are the same DDs that used the assorted mix and match sets that didn't include haidate/dusk gloves/turban/etc.

There's still quite a few though who ding 78 and run off to get full Perle, taking off their Haidate and dusk gloves and fumas and 6-hit gear and ARGH. Makes me rage.

Shame I can't find my screenshot of the 5/5 Askar, str ring using DRK who used a gsword (Balin's Sword, insert your own "ballin'" joke here), didn't even have 7hit, and was convinced he was the hottest DD around. When I told him what he parsed, he tried the "I'm casting a lot, if you knew anything about DRK you'd know that not actually dealing any damage is how you play the job right" defense.

Afaik most GS are all 7 hits unless you use STP food.

DRK/NIN with 480 delay and only the 5 Store TP from Askar body is 13.6 TP/hit is still 8 hits including ws to 100%.

Like I said, most GS at 7 hit unless you use STP food. If you're not /sam on DRK, you should be. As well you should be using a scythe. As well get off DRK unless you're zerging. I think nalgering is the only GS that gets a 6 hit without food, but you have to use askar body or some STP body I believe.

For PLD/DRK/DRG even Homamx3/Turban/Nocturnus loses to full Perle. If you can get Dusk+1 or any of these new pieces with exorbitant haste (Timarli, maybe Ace's Hose), then mix/match wins.
