Neutral Impact is expanding its roster a bit more! We have just over 30 members now and are still looking for a few more hardcore members to join us! We currently offer members quite a few benefits which include:

Just wondering, what's your recruitment policy on fulltime crafters? Minimum ranks, etc.

I've noticed that your recruitment lists a few crafting classes but I don't see any crafters on your roster list.

The DKP roster reflects the battle jobs since there's only one class column (would love to know how to add a second), but we do accept full-time crafters! We have a 38 Goldsmith who is a FTcrafter (he'd have to be, right?) and many other near-FTers, like a 30 weaver and a 30 Alchemist. We even have a 32 Botanist so we do not restrict you to any facet of the game. We want you to play what you want to play, and as long as you want to be hardcore with it and discover the numbers, we're down!

Neutral Impact is reorganizing into a Gaming Community!

We currently only have a FFXIV chapter, but we also have a few players who play League of Legends! Forums and TeamSpeak are setup for use and available to all members within the gaming community. We encourage anyone interested in being a hardcore end game player to check us out!

Neutral Impact is still looking to expand its roster and we want everyone to know that our current goals are as follows:

By mid-December...
Battlefield classes to 45+ across all jobs
Crafting classes to 45+ across all jobs
Expanding roster to ~40 active members

This will put us in a position to be prepared for any potential endgame content SE might throw at us at that time.

In the future we will support other games and encourage players who wish to pursue endgame endeavors in FFXIV and might be looking for a group for an upcoming MMORPG to seriously consider us. We are a great group is high-level gamers who play games to the maximum potential, but are of course pretty laid back and easy going to talk to!

The Impact Gaming community plans on being around for years to come so please check us out, I promise we will not disappoint!

Neutral Impact will potentially be opening its door much wider in the coming days.

We understand the nature of the game the and difficulty high-end players may have finding a good linkshell, especially when you're already locked onto a particular server, such as Figaro. Currently the recruitment team is collaborating directly with members to revise recruitment policies and allow for an even greater range of players to join us. While we still wish to maintain status as a progressing-to-end-game linkshell, we are strongly considering factors which may hinder the quest for hardcore players.

That said, semi-hardcore-casual players are also desired. If you can meet the expectations members have and are willing to grow not only within the linkshell, but within a gaming community, I strongly encourage you to read our site, hop on TS and chat, and send in an application. We want to make it clear that we are not lowering our recruitment standards, only expanding upon what those are and revisiting the methods we use to analyze applications.

Recruitment has now changed a bit and all players applying will have their apps shown directly to the members instead of them being filtered by recruitment team first and then shown to members. This allows for a much wider range of players entering and allows members to give a lot more feedback than previous. This change has been good for the linkshell (even though the previous system was also requested by members!) and we have brought in three new players in the past week.

Amongst all the mixed news, our numbers have actually grown! In the past two weeks we've brought four solid members on board with ranks well above 30 (two are rank 50), and we have a couple of applicants up for review now as well. If you are on Figaro and your linkshell is dying and you're looking to continue playing this game, and want to play a role in a linkshell at the end game, look no further than Neutral Impact then. I mean, why bother going to all those other linkshells that will merge or die out due to lack of interest? We have time-tested leadership, solid rules, and functional recruitment and battle/crafting systems. We make it work because we know how to make it work.

Additionally, I would like to plug the community as a whole. Right now we are also testing Rift and have several members with VIP keys for this weekend's and upcoming beta events. As a community we are looking to expand into Rift, not replace FFXIV, so if that is something that interests you (playing other games with the same people), then seriously check us out.

Lastly I just want to say this very humbly. I want to give a big thank you to the BG community for all the support in our recruiting process. We have brought so many new members in and have really become known among the other end game linkshells on our server, and that is in part to our exposure right here on there forums.
