Bone Harpoon Butts seemed to be the only thing I had a chance at creating Rank 1-4. The best I could do with Bone Rings was 100% progress but always accompanied by 0 durability.... I could do copper nails and get 32 a pop but after 11 successes and 4 fails I still hadn't earned a single Gsmith point. Was using Gsmith tools of course.

Any carpenters that can craft a fishing rod >rank1?

At r14 fisher, grade2 GLs and waters are hella hard (2 jigs = stamina gone, mostly. Still get skillups though). Tried all kind of lures/baits.

If you try and craft it without leveling alchemy as well it tells you your alchemy skill isn't high enough. At rank 4 alchemy it still gave the message, at rank 5 alchemy it let you craft it.
(Requires Alchemy Rank 5 as a subcraft)

Is there any tanner out there that has reached lvl 10+? Just hit BS 14 and I need a buffalo grip to make an axe. I'm wondering what level you guys start messing with buffalo leather or able to make the grip.

might not be, dodo leather was doable at 3 or maybe even 0 this time

Anyone have some tips on weaving? Rank 3 and I can do the Local Leves with out failing but outside of that I can make Hempen Yarn for 0 skill gain or never get past 25% on hempen cloth. I'm at a loss here... 16 times Yarn synths in a row 85-142 Quality and not a single skill point. I marked down different responses I took to the changing of the element (multi-colored, w/sparks, wind unstable, fire unstable, ltng unstable, etc) and what worked and what didnt.
Now that I look back at it, it's straight up random... Multi-colored ball w/ red sparks, 3 times rapid gave success, 2 times bold gave success, 2 times standard gave success. Oi Oi..
