My stadium is unfinished again after server restart.
FARK
Carts don't work in MP by the way.
So, is multiplayer going to be fixed come the Halloween update? I can't find any update notes hinting at it. While the game has been fun to play single player to kill some time between classes this week I don't think I'm going to be dropping my own money on it to play a game that begs to be multiplayer but only has a fully functioning single player... (borrowing friend's account currently.)
I am tempted to get this, it looks pretty interesting. Is it pretty much just making random buildings and stuff, nothing more than that?
Built my new BG home next to a volcano.
and can't forget creepers

You sir just convinced me to buy the game. Time to join the BG server and look at the glory.
Yeah, there's no "goal" in the game as of yet. Multiplayer is largely non-functional outside of simply gathering+building, but it will hopefully be as functional as single-player at the end of the month.
Single player "offline" play is Survival Mode, where you do the usual harvest wood > craft tools > build shelter > craft facilities > terraform > slaughter wildlife > start mining > craft weapons > explore > craft better tools > gather better materials > grow crops > craft armor > explore natural caves > build a better shelter > terraform some more > craft better tools > craft food > gather even better materials... so on and so forth while your mines and forts grow exponentially more awesome/massive... Simultaneously trying to avoid the dangerous monsters that appear in every dark corner of the game in a world that's too massive and randomly generated to fathom. It's fun as balls.
Spoiler: show
Where the hell did you find all that clay?
Uh, we don't really "find" resources anymore. We kinda have them all. Also I think Ragns can spawn anything as server admin. I don't know if he takes advantage of either source, though, to be fair!
Ah, also, a question, just for the sake of asking. If we do wind up with a reset, will it wipe all data or just terrain? Curious about the ramifications of keeping character data, since we've duped so many resources.
I don't have a paypal, is that the only way to get it?
Not really, you can pay by credit card through Paypal without being registered or anything.
Bah, I keep forgetting about the duping. I'm used to single-player where I find a big clay deposit and grab all up, all excited about building my brick house, I lay a foundation and get the walls one-block high and I'm out of clay. I can't find any more of it for the life of me.
You're looking at anywhere from 140MB in bandwidth per 24 hours played per user and about 200MB memory per player, I'm guessing. I'm sure Ragns can give you a better idea on the memory requirements since he runs the server and it has around 5 people at any given time, at least from what I've experienced.
It says that the game is 9.xx Pounds, I think, so does that make it about 15$ USD?
14.28 i think as of yesterday
Yeah, just about 15$. Should be a bit less if I remember correctly.
