Offer suggestions to my build (Help needed)

So I have a budget for a new computer (Since I'm sick of using my laptop for gaming and every other thing I need a computer for). My current budget is around $1600+ (Depending on how many paychecks I wait) however I don't want to go the Intel route since... That's just WAY to damn expensive.

    Proc:
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Thuban 3.2GHz

    Mobo:
ASUS Crosshair IV Formula AM3 AMD 890FX

    Hard Drive(s)
Western Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0GB/s (Bare Drive)

    Disc Drive:
    Pioneer Black 12X BDR205BKS OEM

    Case:
    Antec Twelve Hundred

    Currently needed:
    PSU
    Video Cards
    Memory
    Fans

However I can't find anything past that along the lines of a nice video card. I would like to do SLI/Crossfire but without blowing 1000+ on each video card.

Any suggestions on the video card.

I'd also like this build to be without water cooling. Thanks.

The Intel route really isn't that much more expensive, and i5 and good motherboard costs way less than the 1090T and your mobo. To each his own though.

As far as video card, I know people are saying right now ATI works better in FFXIV, but I find it kind of hard to ignore Nvidia's selection right now. I'd either go for a 1GB GTX460 or if you can find a GTX470 for around $280 I'd get that. The GTX460 will be a very nice card for medium to high settings, and you have the potential to SLI down the line. The GTX470 should be able to almost max the game when coupled with a good i5/i7/Phenom II.
