That was a pretty good trailer I was a lil sad they didn't show more in-game fighting. At least I can say this is gonna be the sexiest looking mmo I've every played.

Or I suppose they're still counting the uninformed retard demographic sales from the people who'd buy this game thinking it is not an online game, there were a decent number of those during FFXI release after all.

That's what this trailer seems to show.

The problem is that it doesn't tell us much about the game, regardless of how nice it looks.
It doesn't even tell us much about the story, but it might be a good thing considering how horribly spoilerific FFXIII's trailers were.
Then again, a relatively small % of the buyers get a MMORPG for the story...

No trailer unless its over 30 minutes long will show anything about a game. It is all nice graphics to get the nice people to go to their website, or google for more information. Ive never just bought a game off of a trailer if I never heard of it before I do my research.

Freedom of movement depends on the genre to me. RPG with no jumping? Fine, it's not integral to the game. Action game with no jumping? Wtf is this shit?

I just had a visual in my head where we did have freedom of movement, just none in the Y axis. Walk off the deck in Limsa into the water and drown to death, being forced to hit Return. I'd be all for that actually, fuck not being able to hop off 2ft ledges or making suicide jumps for the lulz.
