It's funny, getting that lightning or w/e resistant armor made the 1v1 fight cake. But having to do both in a row was so frustrating first time.

Jesus Christ that Velius fight. PS1 memory cards were always expensive as shit and I only had one that I shared with my brother. I never played the game on PS1 after that; I didn't beat the game until the PSP version came out and could properly prepare for that fight. lol

Ive been playing the insane difficulty mod, and I fucking love it, despite how brutal it is. All AI is far better and some of the tweaks/buffs/nerfs make it satisfying as hell to finally start peeling back the layers and learning.
Anytime the intro battle becomes a serious 50/50 toss-up on winning or losing, despite your overpowered dark/holy knight combo, you know you're in for some good shit.
