No, not the FF11 Assault mission.

Don't have to like Halo to like this, cause it's not like the game, and don't have to have played any of the Halo games to understand anything, cause the two aren't related to each other at all, except for it's made/filmed using the Halo game.

Started out quite a long time ago just as a comedy show type thing but it actually developed into a decent story and it evolved into an even bigger/grander story with a lot more action, but also still kept the comedy. In the last season they actually started to use CGI for a lot of the action to make them move in a way they can't in game.

Just thought I'd bring this up cause this season ends next Monday and then I think they begin using Halo Reach to make episodes.

after 6:48 there's a small spoiler, but everything before that is more or less not plot related.

If you're going to pick it up from the start, I would suggest downloading a torrent for it, cause the earlier videos in the archives on their website aren't that great and the commercials that play before each episode get really annoying.

Yeah
Blood Gulch Chronicles had 100episodes,
Recollection is made of 3 smaller series, but are all the same single arcing story: Reconstruction is 19, Recreation is 19, Revelation will be 20.
Then there's 3 other mini-series. Out of Mind which takes place between season 4 and 5 and Recovery One which gaps Blood Gulch and Recollections. and Relocated comes after Reconstruction

and I believe more seasons are planned.

Oh man, didn't realize next week is the season finale. And I actually thought this was gonna be the end of the series since I thought they were calling it a trilogy (like just the whole saga since Wash has been introduced) or something.

Think one of my favorite parts is when Tex beats the dude to death with his own skull XD

I'm not a Halo fan at all, and I love this series. It's pretty interesting to watch from the beginning because you can see how it went from a few guys just messing around in the basement to a very professional production once they gain popularity and open support from Microsoft/Bungie.

They wrapped everything up, so I wonder what they'll be doing for the next season.

I thought they did a really good job wrapping it up. Could see them continuing from either perspective, although based on using Reach in the end, it'll probably be from Church's -- if they do continue it though. They also had the PSA earlier in the season using Reach though, so who knows~

Overall though, if this is the last one, it's been a fun journey seeing them go from the goofy first seasons to actually having a pretty enjoyable plot and characters you actually cared about.

Love this series. Don't see them ending the entire thing here unless they have some more lucrative projects in the works.
Would love to see at least one more season now that monty oum (maker of haloid/dead fantasy) is on the team...those were the best episodes of the season.
