@.@ So basically I should just continue to have a little fun on XI now and then and focus my attention on XIV
Maybe, but when we tested it the very 1st cast he used was AoE. He doesn't own a Yagrush nor did he use divine seal. Then he started spamming spells and after awhile another -na was randomly AoE. We then finally pinned down it was happening every 20th cast. Where he would use 19 na's then be able to pick the spell he wanted to AoE(erase for example).
Regardless if the 20th cast thing is wrong(don't think it is) it 100% for sure can make -na's AoE without the use of divine seal.

gratz. Time to make an enmity+ build for BLM tanking.
If you look carefully, I already have +7 from the cape and belt D:
It may not affect drop rate, but it may affect fame, if you're interested in such things
when you do a quest 60 times for seals, you don't concern yourself with fame
I'm looking into getting the THF Feet +2, and I saw Failure's post... But on Wiki it doesn't show how to get the pop sets for those NMs(Dverger/Ruszor). Any info on which NMs you have to kill in order for pop sets?
Kirschy, leave some DRK drops for the rest of us please grats though!
6/10 on my seals, got 4 back to back. All with top load, this says the exact opposite of what you said.
Lets collect a few hundred samples from each of the 3 loads before we say anything, shall we? Until then 0/50 and 6/6 samples are not nearly precise enough for us to make any judgement other than "Well there seems to be some level of randomness to it"
Ok well a sample size of 50 is semi precise, 2% is meh, tonnes better than 12.5%
Are you volunteering to do several hundred runs of each type to kick it off?
I doubt anyone cares enough about specific drop rates to bother attempting it any more than is required to get their seals.
I know I've got better things to do.
