    I remember there was some short test on +2 PLD body but I run my own to confirm it.
    I used Cactuar and 1000 needles:

    - 25%PDT + body + cap hate - 652 dmg
    - 25%PDT + body + low hate - 730 dmg
    - 48%PDT + body + high hate - 511 dmg

    Seems to be -10,5% PDT cap (or some rounding up I am missing) with cap hate and starting from 1% or maybe 0% with no hate. Seems to stack with other -DT -PDT and also cap at 50% overall.

    Does anyone know how the 5/10% skillchain bonus was confirmed on the Savant's Bracers? I'm doing a lot more damage than expected on the skillchain using the +2 gloves... or I don't understand how the damage is calculated.

    Darksday, wind obi + Twilight Cape


    Level 1 skillchain should start with 667 damage normally (50% of 1354). If the 10% from the gloves bumps the base damage modifier up to 60%, then it would be 812 and the weather bonus (multiply by 1.15, single weather + Twilight Cape bonus) would only take it to 933. I'm not using Klimaform, so no bonus from Savant's Loafers +2 or anything like that.

    Here's a Fragmentation. I'm not wearing an obi until the Aero V.

    I'm not very good with SC damage, but I can tell you that Twilight Cape is a separate 1.05 term that's not the same as day bonus.

    IDK anything about skillchain damage either but is it possible staff bonus affects sc dmg?

    EDIT: also half of 1354 is 677 not 667

    I hadn't even thought of that, but it makes sense. Explains why level 1 skillchains are getting better damage than either level 2 that SCH can do (Fusion and Fragmentation). My Vayu's (wind) is only Affinity+4, and I'm using Neptune's since I don't have Soma's started.

    I wouldn't say it makes sense .... If staff bonus affects it why not MAB? Would have to do more testing to be sure. The numbers i played around with at work this morning didn't match a +5 magian staff (didnt try +4) they were off by quite a bit, but that's probably because I have no idea how skillchain damage works so I was doing something wrong.

    We do know that Affinity is different from the modifier on elemental staves, though. It's lumped in with the elemental damage atmas.

    Just did a few tests,

    naked, + cruor buffs + MM atma
    Aero1 94
    detonation 47 (50% exactly)

    Added Savant's Bracers +2
    Aero 100
    detonation 55 (0.5 * 1.1 perhaps)

    Added +5 mag dmg wind magian staff
    Aero 128
    deto. 91 (0.5 * 1.1 (probably truncated, see below. works either way) * 1.3)

    Added Atma of the Gales
    Aero 158
    deton. 137 (0.5 * 1.1 (truncated) * 1.6 (truncated again))

    Elemental Staves do it, too, not just the Magians.

    Death Wasps in Rolanberry Fields (mostly) Naked:
    Blizzard 138
    Induration 69

    (Mostly) naked with Aquilo's:
    Blizzard 163
    Induration 93 (half would be 81)

    Did you make sure to substitute the 9INT when naked since Savant's Bracers +2 has 9INT on them?

    No because I wasnt controlling for nuke dmg, i was comparing nuke dmg vs skillchain dmg
