Midnight Releases?

More than a midnight release... I want someone to make a torrent for the ISO if they get it early. Would be nice to have it installed/patched before servers up.

My friend works at gamestop.. I'm personally going to try and get the game from him the night before if they're not doing a midnight release. I could attempt to do this but.. my internet connection has a glorious 56kb/s up maximum.

I got laughed out of the store here in north Atlanta asking for a midnight launch. Out of 5 GameStops in Lower Gwinnett County there was 1 pre-order. 0 now that I cancelled mine. Wal-Mart claims they will have it on the shelf around 3 AM on the 22nd though, but a 45 year old black woman told me this and I'm not sure if she knew what the hell either of us was talking about.

I was pretty shocked when I reserved my+boyfriend's copy at a Gamestop in Orlando, FL. The guy said they had "quite a few" copies pre-ordered and were in fact doing a midnight release.

It's the Gamestop @ Waterford Mall for anyone living in Orlando. I don't know if the guy was correct or anything, considering the consensus in this thread seems to be "no" in regards to midnight releases, but figured I'd post!

Just followed up with the Gamestop where we pre-ordered (3455 Jerome Avenue) and they are still not sure if they are doing a midnight release. So, I'm gonna put them in the "no" column. Meh, all us NYC'ers should all get together and have our own release party...with drinks.

Damn, the GameStop I pre-ordered mine at long ago straight up told me they were one of the few stores doing a midnight release. I've been looking forward to it. Now I guess I've gotta call and check up on it :/

I live in Massachusetts, and like an hour outside of Boston. So nowhere that logically makes sense for a midnight release, tbh.

Mine might be doing one too, but he has to check with his district manager. He has a lot more leverage for doing midnights for this type of shit though, he's sitting two doors down from a Best Buy with a Walmart across the parking lot in the other direction.
