Yup. Only PSOW is the only real major community hub for the (PSO) series compared to games like FFXI and WoW. Though back in PSO's heyday, there were places like MAMAK, which was where the majority of info (especially on v2) came from.

Mm.. double sabers. Weps look cool at least and wtf, 8 difficulty levels? o.O
Normal

very hard
normal ultimate
hard ultimate
very hard ultimate
ultimate ultimate
lolyouwon'twin mode?
Normal Ultimate - Mobs have access to instant death attacks.
Hard Ultimate - Said instant death attacks are now harder to dodge.
Very Hard Ultimate - Every attack now causes instant death.
Ultimate Ultimate - The above, plus it's like that one level in Doom where you're trapped in a dark room with like eighty monsters.
lolyouwon'twin mode - you actually start off dead and have to buy a scape doll to continue. Every second you're alive, you lose 90% of your max HP. Plus the above.
Subdue za oodan will be available for lvl 200 only. Lmao
That'd be hilarious as fuck, but they do need an Ultimate +1. Ult just wasn't hard enough :<
I won't stop until every enemy fires Megid at me.
There is reddit.com/r/pso2 if you're a redditor. Though not everyone is into reddit. I wouldn't be shocked if we see more pso2 specific communities sprouting up once the game releases or a worldwide release is announced. PSO-W doesn't represent the entire english-speaking community.
Amen to that! At least they were stationary though. PSU took this a step further by giving it to mobs that could move in S-rank difficulty and above though. If anyone has played that game and remembers SEED Magashi from the story missions, he screams it. "MEGIDOOOOOO!!!!!"
Magashi was my nigga but fighting him in S mode and above fucking sucked. Seed or non-seed. Dude would rape if you weren't careful. Howzer, I dare say was worse.
The humanoid characters in all PSO versions in the top rank to me are always the most dangerous because either they do a ton of damage, or they can stun lock you and fuck your shit up. Ill Gils are still my favorite mobs although sometimes they were bullshit.
Any set release date?
Anyone got any youtube vids that show off the game a bit? Looks a little interesting so far, never played PSO/PSU.

http://bumped.org/psublog/Despite this, people still posted their feedback on the BBS. He saw various opinions dealing with the cash and scratch portions of the game. Though the current standard f2p model for pso2 will remain mostly the same, based on user feedback, it could be possible that some of the cash portions of the game may see some changes. But mainly, their goal is to have the basis of the game free to play.
I wonder what they'd change, if anything.
I didn't mess around much with the cash shop during the beta so was it possible to use the FUN points on anything or was that just limited to a few items? Could be a potential change to let FUN be used on more things.
Yeah that was the extent of it.
Not at all surprised on them wanting to hold off on OB though. They even admitted they likely weren't going to get out all the kinks beforehand. I wasn't expecting to see this thing come out for real before August/September anyhow. To be honest, they can take all the time they need so as to lessen the chance of it becoming the derpfest that was the first couple months of JP PSU.
