Level 40 is going to be the cap? Man people are going to get bored and quit quickly if that's the case.

New content is scheduled to be released every 2-3 weeks, so 40 cap will probably not mean much.

The "drip feed" thing can work just fine if done correctly. Once JP PSU had its shit together in terms of server infrastructure, they usually had a minor update every week or so with a major update accompanied by a level cap increase every three months or so.

has there been any news of an american release?

does this even matter/does it look like the japanese release will have an english option? - being a PC app if it supported english i guess regions don't really matter

No word of an English release yet, though there is a drop-box with available languages in the game's settings menu.

Like DE said the JP client has a language option but it currently has Japanese as the only setting and it will most likely stay that way until Sega does an official release. In the meantime, people have found ways to patch in English text into the game for menu translations and quests so that helps a ton.

Double sabers and knuckles confirmed. Room & Trading will be free in OBT since they won't be allowing AC purchases during that period. OBT period will be very brief, likely 1 week.

- Many want a Symbol Art creator offline, it's likely something will come out similar to the Character Creator
- Likely be a Symbol Art Contest
- Drop rate will not change much compared to CB
- Can change Ship, not certain if it'll cost AC
- 1AC = 1 Yen, CB AC shop prices were temporary
- Premium Set will be similar to PSU monthly cost
- ON/OFF for boob bounce? No plan to implement. No comment on butt bounce.
- Nuckles, Double Saber are being implemented.
- New Area is similar to PSO's mines, any other areas? Possibly after release.

I think the blog from the previous page covers almost everything said here as well. They talk about Meseta: the in-game currency. You can trade in dropped items (that haven't been equipped) for Meseta. So if you accumulate in game currency you can use that to buy stuff free of charge. They will also have what they call "premium sets" which will closely resemble as if you were paying a monthly subscription. I wonder how powerful these sets will be. O:

Hopefully the premium 'sets' won't be too OP. I don't think it'd be anything game-breaking though so that's all I care about.

Still, charging to trade is silly. I was able to trade with people just fine, though before.

Apparently they're forbidding game makers to allow this form of gacha. In PSO2 you had to get a specific set of items to get the Rappy Costume, so it looks like they'll probably have to change that. Chances are it won't make much difference to the consumer though, just means they would throw the Rappy in the gacha itself as a stupid low %.

So I'm trying to set up a Sega ID and right below the box for creating a username there's a little button that says ID and some moonspeak (doesn't translate; I'm using babelfish), but it won't translate after I fill in all the boxes and hit that ID button, so I get a little pop up flag thing (like, as if I didn't follow the rules for setting up an ID, I put in Jackson, then Jackson9897 to see if maybe it has to be alphanumeric). Another button at the bottom just gives me some sort of error ("The page at http://66.163.168.225 says: ƒpƒXƒ[ƒh‚Ì•¶Žš”‚ª•s³‚Å‚"). Anyone know what I'm doin wrong?

Could already be in use. Caps shouldn't matter in that case. Taking a screenshot might help.
