That's just the button to check availability. You have to scroll down and fill out the rest then click the button at the bottom. Below that will be the password you want to use, the security question/answer and a check box to receive notices from Sega.
Does the little pop-up thing say its taken? Because I've tried variations that I highly doubt have been taken, yet it still pops up and the button at the very bottom still gives me that http://66 gibberish error.
Don't mind me, just derping it up. Stopped using babelfish, then manually translated the popup from the bottommost button and turns out my password didn't have enough letters.
Edit: Got to the https://cha.isao.net/profile_oem/OEM...duct_name=pso2 page, how am I supposed to enter the katakana verification thing?
Use a katakana character map, like this http://tlt.its.psu.edu/suggestions/i...tkatakana.html
Copy and paste.
Ok, after a couple tries, got through, then got something like a registration for PSO2 (Fanta Sheath? lol) completed, but beyond that, I've no idea what to do. Does this mean I've signed up for the beta?
thanks for all the replies guys.
ok so sega emailed me talking about the open beta (i wasn't in the last one), and i do have a sega ID made. how do i deal with the image authentication on the screen i can make it to? :/
http://www.lexilogos.com/keyboard/katakana.htm
Use that. I got the email too.
thank you very much!
edit: had i only read the god damn thread all of my questions were already answered... i'm an idiot but thanks for the help. pretty excited for this!
Weird, i haven't gotten the email yet, so i got a bit worried and read up on pso-world that if you've already been in the CBT then you don't have to re-register or anything and you can get into the pre-open beta, is it true? I have a couple friends who want to start playing w/ me once open beta starts.
Shini and I logged in a couple of nights ago to check and see if we didn't have to reregister. I think we're Ok for now.
You logged in. I was getting annoyed cause it was moonspeak moonspeak squiggle ruins and I'm going "... ok, what was my password again?"
Oh, servers are back up and what not? I don't remember the email, but how long are the servers up for this time?
servers aren't up, the client is just giving me the error, but it looks like i was unsubscribed to the emails from sega, so i subscribed to the pso2 emails. I don't see anything on my account about reregistering so i think i'm good.
*edit* checked my services, i'm still registered in PSO2, so it looks like we're all good.
Ya, we mean logged in on the members website, not the game. Still had a fun time trying to do that.
Pre-open beta on June 15-16, folks! If that goes over well, open beta will kick off right after it.
More info here.
i should log in again so i can hate myself less waiting on PSO2 POBT
I was really hoping for some news about this at E3 so we could potentially get an announcement about it coming here, now I'm scared again. >.>
