I've seen some of the early episodes of Seinfeld but they were pretty flat. Some people know how to create within the parameters of an unsupportive network (like Newsradio for example) and some shows never get there. Plus today they would not at all be given that chance to develop. Most network television shows would get canceled well before they had a chance to really explore the boundaries of comedy. I feel like Running Wilde could settle into something gratifying, but I felt like the first episode was pretty average. It hit all the points that it needed to hit, but that's the same reason I wasn't big on it.
