How good or bad are these games? (P"s i'm not a loll fan) The combat system seems pretty slow.

Also are these games follow ups? if yes whats the order

1st one dialogue is pretty funny, with TONS of parodies/game references/etc, but the battle system isn't great at all, very slow and boring for most part.

2nd one, dialogue is eh, nowhere near as funny or many parody/references as 1st one, but gameplay is improved quite a bit over the 1st one. Dungeons in 2nd one also doesn't look so dull as 1st one, but dungeons still look a bit plain, but still a big step up over what the 1st game dungeons looked like.

As far as story goes, they're both completely different, so you won't really miss much. Neptunia V was just announced, so not much details on it yet.

A few bullet points (keep in mind it may be incorrect or not entirely correct):

- Story is supposedly completely different from Mk2, and will feature more nonsense.
- There's a mysterious organization called "the seven wise men" Neptune and the others end up clashing with.
- Hokanko reports that the article hints at new goddesses.
- Jump is possible on the field
- Model quality is improved and getting closer to the illustrations (I doubt this will happen...)
- nao will sing the OP
- All the goddesses should be available from the beginning.
- Limited edition planned, but the recap doesn't mention any details.

A few more info (skill translation may be incorrect):

- The name isn't Cho Jigen Game Neptune V but Kami Jigen Game Neptune V (Divine Dimension Game Neptune V).
- Only Neptune is the one that gets into the alternate dimension.
- The Noire of the alternate dimension isn't a goddess since Lastation doesn't exist, but she's still a tsundere. She uses a skill called "Tornado Chain".
- The Vert of the alternate dimension is the goddess of the nation of Leanbox that is across the sea. She uses a skill called "Kinectra Slash".
- The Blanc of the alternate dimension is the only goddess of the main continent, and she still has her personality issues...
- Lastation doesn't exist, since Noire still isn't a goddess.
- Planetune is still a small country. Perhaps another goddess is ruling it?
- Lowee uses old-style Japanese architecture.
- Leanbox is a military state. It's under invasion from Lowee.

Keep an eye out on twitter events in each town (Chirper) for every chapter. Some skills can only be obtained from them, such as Inafune Brand (Inafune Sword Skill attack), and the increase in lily rank helps a lot too if you plan to go for most/all endings.

If you plan to do NG+, make sure to buy all costumes/accessories you want, as you won't be able to buy them again till you get to that point of the story again where normally unlock at.

TEC/AVD are very useful stats to have, both early on and endgame, and debuffing bosses with -AVD can be extremely helpful too if you're still missing a lot.

Nepgear is OP. Uni is very useful to have, especially due to her debuffs/buffs. Neptune with Nepgear partnered is stupid fucking OP and game breaking if you learn their coupling skill from chirper event, I was able to take down the secret boss in coliseum at lv70 due to how OP it is and with Uni's Charley Horse. Everyone is pretty fun to use, but Nepgear and Neptune/Nepgear is pretty OP though. Neptune, Nepgear, Noire, Uni, Nisa, and 5pb are my personal favorites, Nisa is ALWAYS in my party though.

Nope. All the quests can be accepted in each landmass, can complete them at anytime and even repeat them if you want. The only thing that's missable are certain chirper events, some have to been seen within a certain time frame/chapter.

Wow, this game is looking great. Almost makes me want to consider it.

However, having a hard time getting that hyped about it. I have never had a game turn me off so fast as the first one. .
