oh yea, i edited my post and forgot that, you start the quest in Ul'dah, at merchand ward. (at least for me, i'm from LL and choose the taru npc)

Almost just want to quit now after doing that lv25 mission, shit was embarassing. Take stealth? Kill soldiers? Who gives a shit when you can just run around the long way without seeing anything, having to <call> the NPC the entire time because they dont know how to path and youre constantly warned about 'leaving the instance'. Got the pod, returned without seeing a single thing. Actually went LOOKING for a soldier at the end just to kill one... NPC just stood next to me the entire time.

^ this. What a fucking disaster. NPC let me die to some fuckin caster... so much for having a healer/debuffer companion.

I really hope the missions get a little more epic. Whatever happened to shit like that Rank 3 dragon BCNM?

They need to figure out a way to let crafters participate without ruining the missions for combat classes.

I hope they can focus on that once the storylines come together. Maybe even have separate tasks depending on your discipline. Combat classes fight a dragon. Crafters build a cannon to kill the dragon. Gatherers go hug a tree.

Memory Receptacles, Unstable Discplacements, Quasilumin Escorts, True-sound/sight shit everywhere... bleh.

Only problem w/ XI's mission's was that you could only get ppl to help you who are on them / alrdy completed. If they allowed anybody to help (just if you haven't gotten that far yourself you can't see any CS's involved in the mission) then everything would be 30x more friendly. Because some shit is just hard to get ppl to help you w/anymore. XIV seemed to have gone the opposite extreme and making everything retardly easy to solo

I dont expect epic at level 25, but I expect functionality. I'd be fine with running around killing Orcish Fodders/Ding Bats for drops IF THEYD LET ME. Dont put me in a broken instance and make me pain my way through trying to complete something. I expect shit to be broken on MMO releases, especially a SE release. But I don't expect the STORY to be something needing work. It really pissed me off.

And, yeah. On the top of the bitching-cake, my NPC is such a fucking slut.. every word out of her mouth is something like this. I hope SEs plan is to kill these characters off down the road:

R25 isnt LL story mission anymore. All towns are combined. Go back to where you did the 20 one in Uldah Mechantwards and continue.

I wasn't able to enter the Merchants' Ward until after I received the hit from my NPC linkpearl, which randomly triggers after molesting aetherytes and wandering around. Unfortunately, this didn't occur for me until after I hit R27.

Exactly the same thing here. I got 26, tried everything I could to trigger it and gave up. Went out and grinded to 27 and ran around Ul'dah talking to people and touching things, but it would not trigger. Ran back to the Ul'dah Aetheryte and it finally decided I was ready.

Then I did the mission and kinda wished it hadn't triggered.
