    Races

    Hi all,

    I just finishing downloading all the updates and was just about to start my character creation... FFXI had each of the races which different native strengths/weaknesses... in the final release version are these apparent as well? or is it really just a cosmetic difference this time around? I've gone through various other sites but didnt see any info about it...

    Yes, there are. However they are very minor and due to the point allocation system they are also completely moot.
