all these movies are horrible. vampires, ok. werewolves, ok. vampwolves, ok. what else could there be to the plot. it kind of reminds me of those shitty resident evil movies, except of a slightly higher quality.

i like my vampires somewhere in between interview with the vampire and 30 days of night. a nice medium. no crucifixes, garlic. not too much ennui. etc

1st movie was great, 2nd was pretty bad, 3rd was awesome... but this is going to suck hardcore methinks...
Plot sounds terribad at least, hopefully decent action and maybe they can clean it up.

Resident Evil 1 is fucking supreme, one of the best video game > movie transfers IMHO. The subsequent movies were pretty lacking in comparison though...

Resident Evil was pretty good. All of the other ones are pretty terrible. That didn't stop me from seeing them all in the theater though. Or getting them on blu-ray. (Except for the newest one) But it was pretty cool in 3D I have to say. They are popcorn movies, plain and simple. Bad popcorn movies though. I think the first one is the only one I can sit through whole anymore.

The Underworld movies are pretty good. I have Rise of the Lycans, didn't watch it yet though. Heard awesome things. The first is one of my favorite vampire movies (modern ones anyway) only behind 30 Days of Night. The second one was just all over the place with what it wanted to do. Had some cool action, but that was it. I don't really see what else they can do with the story. Aren't all the vampire lords or whatever dead? They better not start bringing shit like mummies into the movie lol.

I never thought 30 days of Night was a good vampire movie. I couldn't watch it twice (that's how i judge). I could watch Underworld twice simply because she is so fucking fine and Blade I+II twice because Deacon Frost and that other fucking crazy vampire hybrid (p.II guy) are such great villains

Bram Stoker's Dracula is my fav vampyre movie I think lol, corney for some people but it's such a good flick~
I like Interview With a Vampire a lot too, it's pretty slow moving but the story layout is just superb...
Underworld is up there so I'm hoping it's not a godawful sequel...

30 days of night is a half-decent gorey vampire movie, that's about it lol
