Scott Speedman isn't even listed in the cast list, so I assume Michael was just a look alike or CGI for some scenes. Curious if he wasn't interested, or it did not matter since his role was so small.

Just saw it. Watchable, but they threw away most of what I liked about the first two and decided to do a mostly crappy resident evil/ultraviolet post-apoc/tyranical gov't with a zombie vibe sequel instead. Left it wide-open for another sequel that looks like it would be the good sequel this one should have been, but probably won't get made now...
Some laughable stuff like selene's body was cgi for close-ups and when naked. The roided lichen actor looks like they just had him walk over (still in wardrobe) from the Lost Girl set for his scenes. Over a decade passed but people are driving cars from europe in the late '90s in what appears to be the U.S.?
Wanted this to give the series a good or happy ending with the couple. Maybe they will do another sequel that picks up 5 minutes later like the first and second movies worked. Nevermind, with a child actor they would need to be making it already or it's going to jump ahead a couple years.
I hated it, I really liked the first and second movie and this was complete miss with me.
Ya, Kate was boss as ever. I guess what I like about other ones was that even though they were set in the present day they always related to the past. I liked the history behind it and how they related it.
I hate this government vs supernaturals bullshit you mentioned. Never imagined this would be the next chapter after the ending of the second movie.
Timeskips always ruin things (TDKR better prove me wrong). I'm in same boat as you guys. The secret Vampires vs werewolves fighting thing was way better than the government vs monsters bullshit.
