my team is named cancer patients in dedication to villanueva, he is also on my team. fuck yeah

Studies show that fat men do best among men candidates (hot women do best amongst women candidates); would have been perfect for someone unathletic like Steve.
I thought this was very well done.
Cleveland is like a psycho ex girlfriend. Are they going to boil his pet bunny next?
Well, I can't really blame them. When you consider the shitfest that Cleveland sports currently it is, combined with the heartbreaking past some of the teams have, it's understandable. Then they have LeBron who is probably their best chance at winning something and he quits on them like that.. I'd be pissed too.
anyone see the kevin love hi 5 video yet? lol

Videos on this page (kdneighbor, cleveland rise, and kevin love) have been fucking great.
Fuck Viacom, I wanna see south parks rise.
People here in CLE are so disillusioned with their shitty sports teams, it's so pathetic. I have friends blindly claiming Cavs are going to win it all this year. People still expect the Indians to make it to the ALDS each season and they flaunt the Browns' regular season win over the Saints like it was a Superbowl win. It's really terrible, especially coming from Boston, which was practically the fucking mecca of sports this past decade.
I think what gets overlooked is all the business lost as a result of LeBron leaving. All the bars, restaurants and businesses around Quicken Loans have lost 40 - 60% of their regular traffic because there's really no reason to go to Quicken Loans anymore unless you're from another city and want to see that particular team play. Lots of people made a living as 3rd party ticket sellers, and between Indians seats and Cavs seats, 50% of their income is basically shot since the interest in the team has dipped so low, and since ticket prices have plummeted. There's a lot of other residual effects other than "shit my team is gonna suck now."
Edit: Interesting article on the economy of Cleveland pre and post LeBron: http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/...n/7093990.html
LeBron was free to leave and do whatever he wanted. The problem was moreso that he was a giant douche in the way he did it.
1) He did not need to give a giant fuck you to Cleveland broadcast on national TV with "The Decision."
2) It did not need to be an hour fuck out. It could have taken 1 minute in SportsCenter tops; maybe a half hour if he took questions after.
3) He previously promised that he wanted to win in Cleveland and not go to another team to chase a championship. Given that he should have been honest and admit that he couldn't do it by himself in Cleveland instead of acting like his talent was too good for Cleveland.
I mean it's not surprising, LeBron's got a gigantic ego inflated from years of the Cav management placating him. After the preseason game against the Hornets he told Spoelstra to go home without him so that he could go party with Chris Paul. He got away with that all the time in Cleveland apparantly. Spoelstra looked at him like he was crazy and told him to get the fuck onto the plane.
Hawks suffered their first loss last night, good test against the Magic tonight
Mavs/Celtics game was great.
Jazz just earned their 2nd "Game of the Year" straight.
