rose defers the ball. he isn't a hog. iverson was a black hole in philly no matter which way you slice it. even in the year that he averaged just under 8 assists (arguably his best personal year), he still took 1,900 shots. that's still 500 more shots than Rose will take this year. (he's a shade under 1400 atm)

This literally means that in Iverson's BEST year, he took 33% more shots over the course of the season just to average 5 more ppg than what Rose is averaging now.

and that's not even accounting wins. (the 76'ers finish 4 games over .500 and was the 6th seed in the JV east)
