JP prime time on a Friday night. Seemed just as busy as normal.
But who knows, it will probably be all fucked up tomorrow.
Other than noticing how you can get skill points on a blue mob, then fight an orange and get none, and how parties with 3 or more players in the party 1 gets shafted, what exactly is this countermeasure that fixes SP gain?
Nice, I'm happy they are taking care of the party exp issues. Hopefully they used their typical SE vagueness in the update notes and it applies to SP as well, or the "- Implemented a countermeasure for an issue which prevented players from gaining skill points during battle." part covers that.
I like exp parties and the no exp/sp glitch was really messing with the way I want to play this game.
So has this fixed one person not getting SP in a trio after every fight? Or did it do something else?
Damn they need to let you summon your retainer anytime you're in a market ward, regardless of city. Such a pain in the ass to manage inventory and storage in this game. I just spent like 20 minutes fucking unloading and getting a few items on the bazaar on my retainer just so afterwork I'll have time to do some mining. Fucking ridiculous!
Glad that the chat window doesn't disappear though, i noticed there's more talking going on in the game! Alas! it wasn't they playerbase that weren't social, it's the game that was frustrating them and made them stopped bother chatting while do just about anything.

Seriously though, drop in a big bucket, but it's a very welcome start. Party XP fixed, the chat disappearing during crafting nonsense - Doing 8 crafting leves in 1 sitting is like 3 hours of "I cant talk to anyone in the shell". All good stuff here.
And market ward update next week? This game is on track for launch... PS3 that is!

sounds like most of these fixes still didn't actually fix the problem... if skill gain is still messed up and chat logs still keep resetting. Maybe they need to test their fixes internally before saying its fixed and putting it on live servers
They had to do something, and quickly. Even if this is just a band-aid, they had to stop some of the bleeding.
Bandaids don't do much when you are hemorrhaging blood.
Time will tell.
Hearing reports that they broke crafting / made it much more difficult to succeed, intentionally or otherwise. I'm clocked in at work and can't log in to verify this right now, can anyone confirm or deny this?
At least these updates are all a step in the right direction. That chat-input thing was pissing me off more than anything.

Yeah I haven't noticed any crafting problems at all. On a side note ( I don't if it's been mentioned elsewhere) you can now summon your retainer between cities/wards even while it's still bazaaring.
