Fuck that! I'll take my liquor and beer at the same time!

So tonight, I've been experimenting with mixing liquor with beer. My beer of choice is Summit Unchained Batch 4, which is fairly sweet and strong at 8.6% ABV. I have tried adding Triple Sec or Bacardi cherry rum to it, and both are quite tasty. The Triple Sec was best, though. Another thing I've tried in the past is the cherry rum with Bud Lime for a cherry-lime flavor. Bud Lime is a beer I don't normally buy; I just made that at a party where someone else brought it.

Anyone else have any good recipes for liquor + beer?

Not liquor + beer related. But some of my friends swear by beer + orange juice. I think they're insane. Additionally, they said beer + orange MD2020 is just as delicious.

Coors lite with a splash or 2 of orange juice, drop a shot of amaretto in it just like a jaeger bomb. Delicious, even if it's shitlite.

Yeah, that's the thing with light or cheap beer. I pretty much only drink it when it's free and I can add liquor to it.

Just tried adding Triple Sec to Summit Horizon Red Ale. Tastes kind of bitter with a pleasant, sweet, orange aftertaste; fairly delicious.

Beer with lemon juice is pretty popular in Germany, its like a standard type brewers will have. Already mixed in though. Coke (i think) with red wine and Sprite with White wine was common in Italy when I went there as well. All of the above are just terrible. If you are using shit beer then I guess do what you gotta do...but stay the hell away from real beer.

I'm not a fan of this, but my roommates love amaretto and beer. They swear it tastes exactly like Dr. Pepper. I'd rather just have a good beer, but if you like liqueurs and beer you might like it.

Went to a bar once and a guy bought shots of Grand Marnier so that he could edge in to our conversation with promises of a deep pocket and plenty of rounds. Not a fan in the least so when he decided to do shots, I dumped mine in to my Guinness and pushed it aside and ordered another. Somewhere in the mix I decided to pick up the Guinness/Marnier combo and thought it was quite delicious. Two (mixed shot/beer drinks) later I was completely on my ass and had to smoke an entire pack of Camel Wides. It's that good/bad.

Yeah, I only like doing that with top shelf tequila though. Quite a taste difference in Corona + Montezuma compared to Corona + Patron.
