In OB or Beta 3 it was reported that 10 affinity boosted cross-class skill efficiency by about 20% (from 50% to 60% increase), and had no noticeable effect when skills/spells were used as the main class (ex. gladiator skills as gladiator with gladiator affinity +10 equipped). I assume it's because GLD skills as GLD are already at 100 affinity and can't go higher.

It seems like a way to make the cross-class skills more effective.

If you're on Gladiator, your Gladiator affinity is at 100%. If you're on something other than Gladiator, your Gladiator affinity is less than 100%, reducing the effectiveness of your Gladiator abilities. Guess what boosting your Gladiator affinity does.

Does it boost it past 100% if you're actually on Gladiator?
