This guy/gal posted an application for our LS called Finale (EU endgame LS on Phoenix.) No previous hnm/endgame-ls experience.

Would like to post a BC here to hear some responses that could help us to judge about his application.

First, you're an 'endgame shell', what do you classify endgame as? Do you camp kings daily? Do you only farm sky and do random other crap? Do you do all endgame things available to you (sky,sea,dynamis,limbus,hnm,toau nms,salvage,einherjar ETC)?

If you do mainly just sky things, great! 'No previous hnm/endgame-ls experience.' is a perfect person for you!

If you do anything else outside of sky, tell them to go join some nooby linkshell and figure out how things work together at 75.

If you need info for FraggleRock applicants, you may be able to get in touch with their LS on the Ramuh forums of ffxionline (http://www.ffxionline.com/forums/ramuh-84/). They do some recruiting and such there, so you may be able to catch sackholders for info.

fragglerock from what I remember was primarily a sky linkshell with a 'shout and pick-up members' dynamis group. If they have no endgame experience, I'd hope they had some sky experience. I mean, I can't say I've really heard of the person on our server, but the ls name did ring a bell.

I hate your linkshell for all the cool things you've done in the past(Except DM, he's always cool). But, for the sake of figuring out if this guy is a douchebag or not, cause I'm sure he's gonna apply to us as well, ask him these questions on his app:

Why he wants to join Finale over any other ls? If he applied to Fury too, he's not just looking for an EU LS. Could he even come to your events due to time problems?

Ask him what types of endgame things he's interested in. If he replies "Sky, I want haidate." and you rarely ever do sky, he should probley go somewhere else.

Generally in BC, if you post an app thats "Hi, I want to join, here's my jobs." you'll be made fun of for at least a week on your thread, then it will turn into a thread about either PS3 vs Wii, or myself talking about Ouendan and EBA.

If he posted an app on your forum and didn't seem too enthused about posting it, do you even really want someone like that in your LS? Applications are meant to impress, so make them impress you.

I'm mediocre...theres really nothing special about my BRD and I don't want Items, I simply just want to have something to do.

Regarding the server transfer:
I'm a Server hopper. I'm Zoey from Ramuh, my First transfer was to Phoenix: viewtopic.php?f=46&t=20008 (http://www.bluegartr.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=20008)

Because of my impatience I applied to an EU LS and others at the same time. I was called a Noob and mocked at for only having BRD as a main job and having applications pending. I guess I deserved that. I was also inexperienced at the time when it came to HNM.

aside from that I got an Astutes cape and a pair of Byakko Haidate. The LS had a hard time paying attention and argued a bunch I got sick of it and threw my pearl out was begged to come back so I came back got sick again and just said I'm taking a break and left the server...I somewhat lied to them but my reasoning for taking a break is somewhat right due to my studies.

I'm not interested in Items as I consider my BRD complete, I simply want something to do, if you post another background check I'll just simply get mocked at once again by those no lives on those Bluewhatever forums and I'll be called a server hopper and yadda yadda (which I am), the truth hurts sometimes it seems lol.

This is why I've been hesitant, I'm very selfconscious about whats said about me, even if its from people I don't know. Here lately I've been bored...so Bored I play for 5min and log off.

After doing some research on this person, we denied "her" app. A few members were unsure of why so they asked "her" to come on vent and have a verbal. This person logged in and was caught using a voice mod to sound like a girl. So others beware, this person uses a voice mod to sound like a girl to get what he/she/it wants.

I am only posting this because this person will be hopping off Lakshmi and moving to a server near you soon^^

Zoey's all right, she's been jumping servers though kind of a lot. haven't personally talked to her - last time i did, she asked if she could sponsor some dynamis runs via proxy through someone else since she was no longer a member and was told no. i think she's going after gjall pretty hard.

to my memory, she caused no problems in any of our shells and was generally pleasant to be around, but tbh she hasn't been in contact with us much. i know there was another server migration going on there, but i have no info about that.


you may need a more current background check, i can't remember what other servers she was on but you could ask her.

Well now.. where to begin..

First off, there's a chance that Zoey might also come with a taru companion named Superman.. They're separate people, but Zoey plays Super's account from time to time. The real Superman is cool shit.. I will highly recommend him for anything.

Zoey does have plenty of endgame experience. She and Super were in FraggleRock (purely social with some pickup events) and FraggleForce (FraggleRock's sister linkshell that does Dynamis and Limbus) twice. I was an officer in Fraggleforce for about two years before joining TAL, with about a year as the events manager so I have a really good memory of her time with us. The first time through she was fine, good BRD with decent gear and well-merited and never had an issue with drama or anything.. has another 75 job but we never saw it during runs so I don't recall what it is (maybe NIN?) The second time was a comeback after she returned from a server transfer (can't remember which server) and something had changed... she had developed an elitist attitude and was short with the rest of the group (FF caters more to casual players more than serious endgame). After an incident where she attempted to skirt the LS rules in order to get 100V (for gjallarhorn) she pulled a Q_Q fit and quit the group.

Zoey then landed in Evangelion, a newbie HNMLS that acts like they're hot shit (from what she said on her app about them she didn't fit in with them either after coming back to Ramuh). Then I lost track of her until about two months ago I saw an application from Zoey to SilentWinds, one of the older endgame groups on the server that Super had joined. Not sure if she ever got in.

I would recommend giving her a chance, and if she starts pulling that attitude boot 'em.

Helloooooo? McFly??? This is a BC forum! It doesn't matter jack shit if a LS struggles to kill Genbu or if they farm AV on a daily basis. People come here to make sure applicants aren't thieves, assholes, liars, unskilled players (delete as applicable). Linkshells do not need to explain to you or anyone else what they consider as endgame before asking for a BC.

Who cares if Zoey was or wasn't, in fact, a girl? While she was in my LS on Phoenix(Legacy) s/he proved to be friendly, able, active and always willing to help. I talked to her/him on TS daily in that time, I didn't read anything into the strangeness or lack thereof of the voice because it wasn't important to me. For all purposes and intents, this game is gender non-specific to me, the whole purpose of playing this game is for people to build alter egos online and have fun that way, if they want to be a girl they can be a girl, big fucking deal.

People need to stop bitching about whether or not this person had a vagina and begin to start posting relevant information. The relevant information being: Zoey/Naylia/Aylia proved, in the few short months she was in our linkshell, to be a benevolent and useful player. She handled herself well in sky and sea, as well as all the other situations she was put into. Never attempted anything dishonest as far as lootpools went. My one tip is to watch her in Besieged, if she's in your party she'll cast Foe's Sirvente on you and try to get you killed ~.~

I wouldn't know. Fraggleforce never used TS or Vent, so I can't speak to the experience of anyone using a voice mod in the group. I go by what I already posted, which you obviously didn't read, where I stated that I was critical of her actions and her motives in trying to skirt our linkshell rules.

That's why I'm watching. I've been requested to keep a closer eye on stuff in here by the modzillas, but to try not to lock threads. I only did on the Giglamesh because the mod commands and stuff were frustrating me like crazy, it was 6 pages of trying to clean out troll posts and the points had been made ages ago, it wasn't even a warning about the player anymore, just people being mean to each other.

Saw a few posts saying Zoey and Superman are the same person or rumored to be. Superman is currently in my LS and I've been close friends with him and his brother for a few years now. He is one of the better people on Ramuh and knows how to play his jobs very well. If they are the same person they have a severe split personality disorder or are a very good actor lol. They are nothing alike. He shared his accounts with Zoey for a while; Zoey applied to our LS but she/he said they wanted to go back to their old LS to try to rebuild it and pulled out on their application.

I didn't have a whole lot of time getting to know Zoey but he/she seemed to know their job (brd) well. They seemed kinda hard-headed from time to time; really hated using WHM sub for BRD and left parties over it a couple times. Other than that, I know of nothing wrong with them. I've never spoke with them on vent and cannot comment on the voice altering stuffs -- maybe it's a new person now? I honestly do not know if they are male or female for real lol.
