Crack the Skye

So Mastodon's new album has been out for a little bit now and I must say that it's blowing my mind.

It's definitely different than previous albums, be it the vocals or the lack of huge heavy riffs, but it's still fantastic IMO.

anyone else have thoughts?

I was shocked by it, honestly did not see it being as good as it was.

it's pretty solid, not a huge mastodon fan personally but there's some good stuff on here.

I have to say that The Last Baron is my favorite song off of Crack The Skye. Youtube it, it's really good.

I bought the "normal" version and the instrumental only version.

This band just keeps getting better and better.
