Due to a fuck up at NCSoft they ended the ability to buy the upgrade to CE early but fear not, until Friday at 23:59 you can buy it again. I just got mine from the official NCSoft store and applied it. It doesn't matter if you didn't get the game direct from them if you want to upgrade.

Personally I think the CE was work it. The special title ("Settler of Aion" gives +3 Crit, +1 Att, +8 Parry) has been nice to have since it helps DDs a lot (and I haven't had any luck doing spy quests), the wings are VERY useful at level 30 in that they basically save you a million kinah, and of course there's the XP bonus thingy. The dye is nice to have as well, though I haven't used any of mine yet. The hat is meh.

I upgraded, thanks for the info. I do a lot of aether gathering for my alchemy and was regretting not getting the RMT wings, so this will be nice.

There's no hat and no exp bonuses. iirc that was only for preordered copys. I bought the CE version a few weeks after release and got the emotes, title, earring and wings.

You can only apply to one at a time, login to your NCsoft account mangement and you can apply to every character you have.

I've applied them to several characters, so I can verify that you can apply them to all of your characters.
