PlayOnline Server Maintenance (Feb. 3)

On Feb. 3, 2011, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (PST), we will be conducting PlayOnline server maintenance in conjunction with the relocation of our data center. During this time, PlayOnline and FINAL FANTASY XI will be unavailable.

The following services, normally accessible from the official PlayOnline homepage (http://www.playonline.com/), will be unavailable during this time.

- PlayOnline Membership Information
- Character Reactivation Service
- Friend List Plus
- Community Site Link Registration: Owner Menu
- FINAL FANTASY XI Linkshell Community Beta Version

Additionally, the following types of support will also be temporarily unavailable:
- PlayOnline Password Recovery
- PlayOnline Account Cancellation
- All activities requiring the confirmation of personal information

Wait... if I'm adding correctly that's an 11 1/2 hour maintenance?... That's a lot of down time for just a mini-version update. Last few MAJOR version updates have lately been knocked down to about 3-4 hours tops. I wonder wtf is going on.

This is just a PoL update- not actually FFXI, so you should be able to stay logged in if you don't exit the game before they do the maintenance.

The announcement indicates a physical move of servers from one real world location to another. Not at all surprised everything will be down. Wireless technology hasn't advanced THAT far yet

and maint will be: 2011年2月4日(金) 0:00より11:30頃まで

So you only have 7 hours from announcement time to check you prizes before the servers go down...
