    Drew Barrymore is a producer or some sh*t, for that reason, plus the horrible way networks have brought back classics like knight rider, hawaii 5-0 and nikita, this is DOOOOOOOOOOMMMMEEDDDD +1 prior to airing...

    I gave it a shot since the same people that started Smallville are involved. I don't have high hopes for it either. I just hope it's on the air long enough to show Erica Durance. 8============================D She's on one of the episodes as a guest star.

    More like find the 'right' old TV show to remake so it can be a success. Clearly it's just the wrong show, not the entire concept, that can be fixed to be a success.

    My problem with it was that it was so predictable and derivative. The angels are all beautiful, but eye candy only takes you so far. Also, wasn't impressed with Rachael Taylor in her dramatic moments. Out of the angels, I think the best actress is Annie Ilonzeh, but the writing needs to improve. One thing in particular bugged me with how predictable it was:

    Okay, so the angel that died, in the shot with her walking out to her car, and RT & AI are talking about what they're going to do that night, and the car's in the background, I was thinking, "Her car is going to blow up." And it did, of course, because of how the shot was framed and the fact that all the advertising for the show features Minka Kelly and not the redshirt angel who ended up blown up, you knew something had to happen to clear the way for MK to become an angel. It would have worked better possibly if all the advertising was with the Gloria character and THEN they killed her in the pilot instead of showing Minka Kelly all the time. It would have been shocking, and a nice surprise.

    Except, 5-0 and Nikita are, you know, GOOD. Maybe not the best examples.
    (Ok ok, the new Nikita is not as solid as the old USA one, but it's not terrible.)

    Nikita is awesome, nobody is allowed to talk shit about it. And Hawaii 5-0 is a fun watch if nothing else. not great but not bad
