[dev1021] Level Cap Increase

The forthcoming version update is scheduled to include the next stage of the continuing level cap increase for both player characters and adventuring fellows.

The maximum job level for player characters will be raised to 95.

A new limit break quest will be added, the completion of which will unlock levels 91 and above.　The level cap increase will be accompanied by an assortment of new job abilities, job traits, and magic spells.

The maximum level for adventuring fellows will be raised to 90.

A new fellow limit break quest will be added, the completion of which will unlock levels 86 and above.

Why wouldn't I be? Granted the update will be nice, but it's going to take people all of a day tops to go from 90 to 95. What happens then? Back to farming more empyreans? I'm not saying there needs to be loads of additional content, but at least something to keep you busy.

And why do you assume that's all there will be to the update? I'm not saying I expect a lot of content from them, but you sounded like level cap increase is all that will be in the update.

There is still hope for an additional teaser later on confirming more content. I doubt it though.

The update is in September, this is the beginning of August. This is just a throw-away update telling us what we already knew (actually, I didn't realize NPCs were getting a cap increase too).

It's similar to the job adjustments crap they keep releasing on the official forums. They're just trying to stay involved with the community, but don't have much to say.

Actually, my apologies. I was expecting something different however I see how they're handling this. I was thinking they'd have a more complete overview of the impending update, but they're posting each aspect of the update individually.
