To start off one of the forum mods answered a lot of user questions, pretty interesting read.

I wish we could get a Diablo III sub-forum under gaming or MMOs. Mixing it in with WoW is a bit much. ><

The wow forum is inactive outside of maybe 3-4 threads because its awaiting an expansion. No traffic = no sub forum. When mists comes out I'm sure they'll separate. That is if D3 isn't as slow/dead as wow is by then.

I think it'll be the other way around actually, Mists of Pandaria sounds...well... lol.

Thanks for the thread though, I think it's a good idea considering a lot of people don't read the official D3 forums which actually do have a lot of great info on what's going to get fixed according to CMs.

I really like what those patch preview notes entail. I've been beating my head repeatedly into a break wall in Inferno act 2

Some new hotfixes have gone live. Maybe I can actually play with my fucking friends now. Now we just need Inferno Act III and IV damage nerfed and the game will be fun for us melee.

I find it funny how they reduce the resplendent chest chance in act 3 but left the act 2 goblins alone.

If I recall, it is nerfed too. There are a number of unlisted nerfs.

The loot from the gob isn't as good as the chest. The chest made people 10s of millions in a day or 2.

Ditto. The fact it wasn't risk free (I'm sure some HCs would love starting the game on top of a champ pack) and seemed to spawn like 10% of the time for me is probably "good enough" for Blizz, too.
