    Altana Cubby hacked to support Mog Satchel

    This morning, published on the Windower forums, Xebeth of the Windower community was able to hijack the string that remembers your "last searched item" to add support for the Mog Satchel. Other than a few hex edit changes, the file is identical to the original Altana Cubby (I've personally verified this).

    A great contribution if you ask me. Here's a link:

    [Fix] Altana Cubby - Windower

    Some of you have probably already patched cubby yourself or downloaded the update to support the new 80 slots, however, if you want the new version with the Mog Satchel support, you'll have to settle for just the patched executable.

    If you are uncomfy with that, you can wait for the instructions on how to patch it yourself, which he said he'd provide soon. Also, you'll lose the "last item searched" support for the application, but I've never even used this feature. I just wanna know where my stuff is!

    Anyways, enjoy!

    I never quite understood the purpose of this tool, seems like an acceptable substitute would be a good sense of organization

    I have 15 mules ;/ I has a lot of stuff ; ;

    With MOg Satchel I'm going to try to condense those mules this month. So I can maybe delete a couple.

    I don't run it anymore but when I was cooking a ton and doing gardening I had...

    4 windy mules
    2 sandy
    2 bastok
    2 jeuno
    +main

    and I know people that were a lot crazier about it than me, good luck keeping track of all that and never wasting time checking 10 alts for shit you need in a hurry

    Someone who is well-organized tends to use tools which, you know, help them stay organized.

    I have several mules, and each has its purpose. One is for equipment and vital, job-related perishables. Another is for less important stackables and saleable items (e.g., unfinished stacks of crystals, ingredients, and so on). Yet another is for additional storage and Jeuno AH sales.

    I do not, however, keep track of every single piece of gear, each stack of food, and so on, so forth, in my brain. Though I may have a general idea, AltanaCubby lets me look that stuff up in a flash.
