Hello! Let’s all tread together the treacherous path of the final day of the work week joined by some great music!

While listening to the latest episode of the Sequence Break XIV (SBXIV) podcast - which you should listen to, if you're a XIV fan/player - I was reminded that in the next big patch (3.2, scheduled for February) we'll get the first encounter against one of the Primals of the Warring Triad. Hype!

For those out of the loop, the Warring Triad is a trio of "gods" who control all magic. In Final Fantasy VI they were the entity that kept the balance of all things in place, until they were thrown out of array by the game's main villain, Kefka. In XIV they're the first Primals enslaved by the Allagan Empire, and are now being held in Azys Lla. We are eventually fighting all three, one by one; and if XIV wants to really make it fun, it'll give us an encore fighting all of them at the same time, reminiscent of the final battle of VI where you face the three as a single multi-floored entity, right before the ultimate battle with Kefka.

The music for their battle is an awesome theme that first appears against the Atma Weapon (later renamed Ultima Weapon), the guardian of the Floating Continent of FFVI, where the Triad rest.
